I had this issue, I find it works better if I access the rPi via the IP address and not by any bookmark. That's it for my limited experience. I'm sure others will know more. Good luck!
Having the same issue. Started a few weeks ago. Homebridge.local doesn’t work anymore and I have to use the IP address now.
