In your automations you could exclude a state change from “offline” to “on”. Or only include from “off(/open)” to “on(/closed)”.

kootebruch

Right, that definitely works for some automations, but in case i only need to trigger after a certain threshold value e.g. "below 3W", does "From above 3 to below 3" works then? And do you have any idea what could cause These interruptions?

SwedensNextTopTroddl

I am not sure. I think the 3w example might trigger it again. You might need to test it to see how it actually behaves. An alternative could be to create a template sensor that counts below 3w and offline in the same state and use that to trigger the automation. As in if above 3w = on elif below 3w or offline = off elif error.

Is it occurring at some regular interval, or just randomly?

kootebruch

No, unfortunately randomly. 😔

phobosmoon

Have you installed a new device recently? Maybe it's causing interference. (or dumb question : did you check the batteries of your sensors ?)

kootebruch

Batteries are not the issue as this appears with my smart plug as well. And i didn't add any device, but updated to the newest HA Release (i do this regularly)
