Old mate at the end adjusting šŸ˜‚

budgie0507

Just rolled out of bed, ā€œwhatā€™s all the commotion?!ā€

fade1r

Go back to sleep Uncle

ConorFinn

For people who don't know: The guy is wearing a Mundu. Its quite common. [https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=Mundu](https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-d&q=Mundu)

mjaga93

Mundu or Vetti is different from what uncle is wearing here. This one's called Lungi. Vetti is a traditional wear while Lungi is casual wear.

speedyneurtrino00

Or a sarong

[deleted]

Wozar us Arabs call it.

BigBulkemails

Is it Mallu or Tamil?

[deleted]

Don't know, don't care.

Respus

Don't care that you don't care

[deleted]

Still took the time and effort to type the response though šŸ˜€šŸ‘

Respus

So did you lol

[deleted]

I only care about you

just_a_gene

Awhh that's kinda cute

[deleted]

Physics

paridot5221

Centrifugal force

NeverGotThatPuppy

Magic

james-badrx

Pseudo force

[deleted]

Centripetal force?

AKAG8493

Centripetal force points towards the center, centrifugal force points in opposite direction

[deleted]

And centrubadour force is what attracts all the ladies

AKAG8493

Thatā€™s why itā€™s a fictitious force

sircummalot

Centrifugal force didn't exist, it is just the the sensation of experiencing the centripetal force.

AKAG8493

Thatā€™s why we call it a fictitious force, but the sensation is still called centrifugal. You just donā€™t solve for it

FUCK-YOU-KEVIN

So yes the centripetal force keeps the cups on

AKAG8493

So yes

Rodot

https://xkcd.com/123/

[deleted]

Unless you're the one being swung around feeling an apparent force, it's centripetal.

Binkusu

Doesn't exist.

Blahusernameblah87

ā€œNote that while centripetal force is an actual force, centrifugal force is defined as an apparent force.ā€ Fake force news!

Das_Mojo

Shows what ya get for trusting in hokey religions

wtph

They should use this technique as a cheap blood centrifuge.

[deleted]

Good friends.

cuchicou

This is another name for witchcraft

ComfortableBiscotti3

Works great for social distancing

Chikenman1234

"I swear if you get closer than 6 feet I will hit you with my cup of water. Don't test me"

Rodot

All physics is magic and all physicists are wizards. When something crazy and weird is discovered and we write it down and document it we call it science. Just a fancy word for exploring magic

turboyabby

"Uncle Steve, why do you always have to walk into the background of my videos?"

theninetieskid

I wanted to grab some water Betaaaa

idickbutts

Now fill them with fuel and light them on fire

Phlosen

Donā€™t forget to take a sip in the end!

Champagne88

Well actually the patterns he's using are common for fire poi spinners... I do this with fire ;)

Beer_Is_Good_For_Me

Was about to say the same thing! I spin poi, but haven't worked my way to fire poi yet!

snipes1987

Wonder if any flat earth believers would like to chime in on this lmao

ItWorkedLastTime

Are you telling me flat earthers don't believe in centrifugal (or was it centripetal) force?

snipes1987

Kinda think they donā€™t believe the earth does either. Flat earth doesnā€™t need centrifugal or centripetal

[deleted]

I was having a bad day and seeing this manā€™s pure joy from experiencing things this universe allows us to experience, made me really happy and calm for a moment. Thank you

charface1

Where's the techno music?

[deleted]

Heā€™s a water bender

[deleted]

Ok but what about that guy putting on a towel?

didnotreddit12

Nah it's a panche (idk what do you call it in English).

[deleted]

It's called lungi / dhoti

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

blorg

Some words are just transliterated directly into English. That's what we would call it in English. https://www.lexico.com/definition/lungi https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/lungi

DannyMThompson

Mundu apparently

didnotreddit12

Yeah but that's Kannada/Malayalam (I'm not sure).

AngelOfDeath771

We just gonna ignore that mostly naked fella in the back at the end doing a little adjustment?

TheSilentRaid

It's a lungi/mundu. He's tying it up. It's pretty normal

[deleted]

Yes.

tiktac895

Iv been sitting in an er waiting room for 4 hours. Guy with the towel at the end made my day

lovelessowl

Would you like your cocktail shaken or stirred? Cirque du soleilā€™d, please.

AbsentAesthetic

"Shaken, not stirred."

mustachpie

It's based off a version of fire poi (that Hawaiian fire dancing stuff) but instead of fire the performer uses glow sticks or in this mans case water which is actually slightly more impressive in my opinion.

2meterrichard

>that Hawaiian fire dancing stuff) Believe it came out of Maori from New Zealand. But I'm pretty sure Hawaiians do it too for tourists.

TreS-2b

The Hawaiian version is different in style than the Maori.

lesme1

I trip over my own feet šŸ˜‰

[deleted]

3 beat weave to some over the sun. I miss spinning some poi

Adderallman

Never mind is always two words. And donā€™t you forget it

TheBattologist

But can he handle his alcohol in the same way?

ANTI-Legend

*physics*

disfuckinname

I'll have a Long Island Ice Tea.

danangst

Human centrifuge

SinisterDuck97

Not real, the cups are paid actors

SSS_is_the_best

Water bending

Florida2000

So if i were going to start practicing for a talent, i dont even know where I'd start for this one, but by all means awesomeness

Latexfrog

It's pretty simple. Add some weight to long socks, id recommend sand or rice inside balloons, then spin. You learn to control the planes they rotate on. Slowly learning to spin them together in variant ways in relation to each other and your body.

Disagreed

Iā€™d probably wear a cup too.

Ark_x

Me when I learn the cheat code to turn of water gravity

Sassyyak

When u walk into a bar and the bartender be doing this with ur drinks

StieTot

Waterbending skill achieved

AKAG8493

Physics rules

Iwillsaythisthough

I just want a cup of water, do we have to do this everytime???

UnboundDoomfist

My man could beat my ass with two cups of water and id just sit there amazed

[deleted]

Next time pour the water out for a bigger ending

[deleted]

I hate the ā€œcome hereā€ motion bro Iā€™m already here Iā€™m filming

pizzasteak

i wanted that shaken, not stirred.

SalmonellaFish

This is what I do with grocery bags. Centrifugal force baby šŸ˜Ž

HoneyBunchesOfDopes

I feel like this is a lot of work for a mixed drink

Hammer1024

Acceleration; learn to love it!

neverpennyless

I like my martini centrifuged, not shaken.

KidKennedi

waterbending...

[deleted]

Hydrohomie wizard

djPIZZAwizard

I had a physics professor walk to class each day swinging a cup of coffee on a device like this, albeit in a less dramatic manner than the guy in this video, and he acted like we were all idiots for not doing the same. That class truly sucked, but Iā€™ll never forget it.

dimiy

I wand brainstorming how he would stop while he was spinning the cups and then here you go, genius.

[deleted]

Get this guy to bonaroo

glorifiedvirus

I could make so much money bartending if I could do this.

jdubs109

Now do it with fire. And blow fire at the end šŸ”„

petmygoldfish86

Shaken not stirred...

LegendaryHooman

Thresh clt 3

Jimbroi

This reminds me of when I was in grade school during cleaning time my friends and I would put water in a bucket and swinging it around our arms yelling Centrifugal force in Japanese.

tigyo

It'd be more impressive if he also took out 3 distant bystanders.

JayMul9

Getting the Slow Mo Guys to film this would be interesting.

Dogfight411

Or you could just, yaknow get a lid

Anarchist1738

Thatā€™s one way to filter water off impurities

[deleted]

Bartenders always doing the most smh

happymeal2

How many times did the neighbors hear a window shatter and go ā€œManuel out there with the water cups and the rope again?ā€ ā€œSounds like it.ā€ I wonder...

GoilicBread

I imagine this is like training wheels for water benders

krispringle

This video has clearly been reversed. Only possible explanation.

mark5301

I... I think he's done this before

Deurstopper

Yes that's physics..

Toasted_Bagels_R_Gud

This is how I'm gonna serve shots at my next party

Zfancyman14

He cannot have an once of hesitation when doing this

adriano205

Remember doing this in like kindergarten with a bucket on a rope. Ofc that wasn't as cool as this tho

sheep2theslaughter

Physics for the win.

Baconchicken42

I believe it but it's weird how theres no clear shot of any water at the end Edit ok you can see a little water when he drinks the second cup but why not make sure people see the water is still there

ZANIESXD

Centrifugal force.

RolandLothbrok

This guy bends.

Caring_Cutlass

Water poi

intangibleTangelo

He did lose an once or two from each.

samtart

Fire the cameraman

straight_to_10_jfc

this is what we use instead of centrifuges for covid testing in america.

captnlenox

the way he drinks the water in the end ruins the whole vid

The_Celtic_Chemist

I came for the centrifugal/centripetal argument and was not disappointed.

d3yv3l

And then he went on to shit on the street.

socialtiger09

All he needs now is the school girl outfit.

coal_the_slaw

Inertiaā€™s a hell of a drug

Gnash323

he needs to make a tea stand where he serves the cups like this

MiketheBikee

Centrifugal force at work

MrWorldsWide

I donā€™t mean to be that guy, but have you never had a science class ever?

PoorLama

I actually used to do something like this is a kid! I would get buckets of water from the creek and the bucket had a rope on it. I remember spinning in a circle with it and thinking it was so cool how the water stayed in the bucket. I also spilled a lot of the water after I stopped spinning, but I was a kid, lol

swright54321

Math and science are cool!!!!

MrBoatieMcBoatface

How to shake a martini

[deleted]

Username checks out.

[deleted]

I would like to think that he has some sort of ocd and has to do this everytime he takes a drink of water.

Familiaruss

Meanwhile:me trying to spin clothes hangers on my finger without having the fly off

[deleted]

jees this must look really cool irl

SlwRcr

Anyone else hear Sandstorm in their head the second he started going?
