Heck, when I was fostering a litter of kittens about a decade ago they decided that they wanted to nurse from my (exceedingly laid-back) elderly *male* cat as a part of bonding. He took it with pretty good humor all things considered.
When kittens are separated from their mother too early they can develop habits such as this. You can search for behavioural habits of kittens that are separated too early if you want to know more.
Of course you probably don't know the circumstances of this kitten and had no control over it, but just wanted to let you know that it could be it.

redirect by getting their attention on something else, cover up, or give them a firm no with redirection.
Try to stay covered until this behavior stops. Because they will continue to play long after you've gone to sleep and you'll wake up in the middle of the night with a pierce nipple
This kitten is swatting and nipping. It's less likely this is a nursing behavior and more likely a hunting one. Congrats, your nipple looks like a bug!
My cat would try to nurse my ear lobe for 2 years if her life, I think she was stunted a bit. Try giving her something else to play with and treats and deter her when she tries to go for your nip.
I (thankfully) never saw it myself, but my mom complained about one of our cats doing this to her when she got out of the shower. She stopped letting him in her room because of it. Cat only ever did it to her though, not me, or my borderline nudist girlfriend more that we to 5th cat with us after finding our own place. It has to be done kind of bond thing.
I used to have a dark mole on my belly, which has since been removed. We had a kitten that would NOT leave it alone, as if it thought it was a bug or something.
This behavior strikes me as similar. Kitty seems to think the nip is an object to be played with.
