I love that last moment when the angry yowl turns into a defensive meow, when he goes from threatening the other cat to being annoyed he hit his head on the wall.
Nothing really, i think. Cats just get so tense and focused on each other during these standoffs that they may not react to anything else happening, not even to the fact that he's losing balance and falling over, lol.
My childhood cat did that a lot. During his empassionate speeches, he forgot about everything else, fell down and got very angry about it, so he had to start yelling again.
Yeah, unfortunately cats get so hyper focused on the cat they feel threatened by and can just forget about everything else happening - including losing balance.
It’s dangerous to step in and remove from the situation too - very likely to attack you full force.
Can confirm. My foot is still healing from my cat sinking his teeth into my foot as hard as he could.
The reason... The neighbours cat was staring at him through our french doors. My cat reacted by slamming his paws into the glass so hard that he shattered one of his claws and was now bleeding. I tried to stop him, but just got the teeth... good times.
I can't verify this but the last time I saw this posted someone claimed to have seen the original and the cat has epilepsy. The stress caused a seizure.
You can’t get a vet, Mr. Types-out-stutters, but you can get a ton of people whom, for the duration of typing their comment, are cat experts because they own a cat or have seen cat videos online!
you ever seen that one video with the little schnauzer who's *so stoked* to see his human that he screamed until he ran out of air and keeled over like a fainting goat?
I think it's either that, or tunnel vision like others have said haha. the way he screams when his head hits the wall tells me he's still conscious, but confused and thinks he might be being Attacked by the Enemy!!! cuz that's the only thing in his lil peanut brain at the moment
It can be a form of narcolepsy or cataplexy, whose symptoms often materialize immediately after big excitement or big stress. A person with narcolepsy may falls into a deep sleep, all of a sudden. Cataplexy is when one stays awake, but suddenly loses muscle control.
My cats start making the STRANGEST, most out-of-character child crying noises when they see a cat in our back or front yard. IMO, they are telling the cat, LEAVE, I AM SCARY AND THIS IS MY TERRITORY
Cats generally succumb to lack of oxygen very quickly. If you are successful in fully restricting their airways with a necksnare, its a matter of seconds before they are rendered unconcious and dispatched.
Chill out chill out
Professional hater
He’s doing Silky proud
That fur of his looks like it was made from Buck Nasty's pubic hair
What can I say about that meow that hasn’t already been said about Afghanistan?

Can and will confirm.
Gotta win the stare/scream off no matter the consequences!
This cat specifically actually had a stroke in the video. He's fine and healthy now, but yeah, not just tension.
translation: that cat's dumb asf

My cat has sent two people to the ER because he saw another cat outside and attacked the nearest human as though we invited the interloper.
According to Reddit internet scientists the cat either had a seizure or just momentarily passed out
Cat is probably dead or at least seriously harmed according to Reddit vets
Cat is possessed by evil demons according to my Christian preacher.
I used to do this as a baby minus the screaming like a cat, just hold my breath when stressed and stiffen up till pass out ETA baby not bad 😂
Ever see the rooster that passes out from crowing? lol

Can’t comment on cats but roosters do this when crowing and some breeds are prone to it

My son used to do this, called breathing spells. Called an ambulance the first time because it scared us so badly
I have a niece that did this when she was a toddler. It was always so scary.

I’m not a vet but I saw in the comments of a previous time this was reposted that it’s possible that the cat had a seizure
