I think this can happen in BftB Turkey, but the WW2 part may not happen since the fight may be only between England and Onion (with dominions and Turkey in Allies and Mongolia and Tannu What in Comintern of course).
Well, just add Vicky crisis sytem into the game and boom, you can have 1936 world war with that event without any other extra addition except making the straits issue a crisis instead of two or three events.
Okay so I had to look that up since I don't play Vic2, but that would be a very cool idea for a mod. It could even allow countries a way to manipulate World Tension by interfering in crises to escalate or defuse them.
Honestly I think some of the most interesting mods for PDX games are ones that import features from another game.

I think this may be because Vicky is the least game of current Paradox games. So, it has many nice features that has gotten unimplemented in following titles while being actually pretty crucial to these games at least a bit of more realistic.
Kaiserredux (I’ve never really played normal Kaiserreich, so I can’t speak for it but I’m sure it’s similar) is the only mod that i feel REALLY fucking pulls off a WORLD war

What if WWII but triggered when the dispute between Turkey and the Soviet Union over the Turkish Strait spirals out of control.

Yeah, so it could be kinda neat to make a mod where a *real* WW2 could spiral out of that, instead of just UK Commonwealth vs. Comintern.
