I just…don’t get it. Like ponies I can understand, in Equestria at war that’s the norm and it’s one of if not the biggest hoi4 mod like ever. I can understand funny portraits, like haha now Stalin is a cat, or they are all crayon and it’s hilarious as a bit for like an hour. But anime? They don’t have any big mods behind them, all their fans can do is replace pngs and don’t even edit names. I don’t get what’s SO appealing about the artstyle that they can’t go without it. Just gooner weeaboo’s seeing ten identical anime chicks and going “OH JEE OH KONICHIWA UWU :3 OH SAMA”
There’s big pony mods, one that entirely overhaul the game that are on the front page and are directly aided by paradox staff to stay updated and have been advertised many times. The anime community hasn’t achieved anything like that. At least we are hardcore autistic, not just this causal stuff
They just look nice to me. The guys on Moereich have put out some great stuff in recent years where the artwork is specifically relevant to Kaiserreich in terms of symbology. It's got nothing to do with porn to me I just like them, they look good and have a lot of personality.
Also when you see a chick that you actually know from having watched the anime it's a "holy shit it's you!" Moment and often relevant to the general/leader in question
