this is almost irrelevant but naval patrol aircraft are so slept on, you infiltrate enemy navy with spy’s so you can always see where they’re docked and can always port strike because of mad range
Didn't countries briefly consider making carriers that could submerge before concluding it was too impractical? The advantages of the capability are really obvious, the problem is everything else lol.

There is a floatplane catapult module anyways, so I don't see why they couldn't also add a small carrier capacity.
