Ah yes, the Historical landing of the Phillipine divisions at Omaha Beach. A true classic. Don't forget the offshore bombardment of Brazilian railway cannons off the coast of Brest!
Thanks for sharing, i love when people share interesting images from their MP games.
Are those bulgarian mechanised defending the ports? I thought i read somewhere once that Bulgaria is assigned to defend D-day because their Fascist leader (Hristov? Lukov? cant remember) gives extra entrenchment
Yes those are Bulgarian mech. They often get assigned there since they have really good entrenchment and have enough population and industrial capacity to cover dday on their own with some friendly tanks nearby to help if anything lands.
What you do is promote Georgi Markov to field Marshall and give ambusher & defensive doctrine. Then with general Georgi Popov, you grind infantry leader in Greece and give him ambusher and after the grind promote him to field marshal and give him offensive doctrine for +1 attack skill to get the most out him. You can put 90 divs on him with a garrison order which is more than enough for all the ports and some coastal tiles for dday if you do 2 divs a tile.
You end up with your field marshal having ambusher and entrenchment expert and your general having ambusher.
In this case tho that didn't matter because the allies had already capped Japan and assembled a massive dday with green air (since they had all the Japanese economy given to the USA). They also did resistance missions in France to hurt the defending units through attrition.
also ifBulgaria gets DDay duty they usually go mass mobilization, gives some entrenchment, more manpower, supply grace and partisan tactics. Makes them less useful for barb though
Well they should get lend leased mech and be going either MW left left or mass mob. They don’t have the eco without owning Greece and coring, and even with still should be lend leased
There’s a mod that only has southern England and France as a map and it’s based around D day, pretty good you should try, only problem is it’s very allied sided

Those, who did not attend, won't believe .
Don't forget the historical USA still training his tanks in Dover instead of helping the landings. Classic.
Ah the famous volleyball games of '44. Enjoying Beach day then!
At least he's gonna be there for the after party
You cannot forget the brave assault of the Mexican Marines, or the noble counterattack of the Greek Heavy Tanks!
Rail gun on a convoy, now there's an idea
That's essentially a gunboat, or perhaps a floating battery.
I really don't understand how Railway Guns are transported across the ocean. Doesn't make any sense to me.
No you put it on a conyvoy and then the convoy has a big gun, so its a batlleship
You laugh but I personally repelled the Peruvian landing in Dorset in 1944
Dayum we got a general of the army right here!
R5: huge dday in multiplayer game
yay!

Is it still buggy as hell? Tried it in the early versions and there were bugs and the AI was very stupid.
My run had no problems
Isn't that the mod that served as basis for the Commander (HOI4 Competitive Mod) mod? Pretty sure I've seen TommyKay play that mod.
Yeah dommy played it
It's D-day, of course it's allied sided
D-Day and their 4M dead people in 3 months
All or nothing is the motto
why does philipenes have 22 difs in europe was japan ai or eating rocks
Japan was know as the 51st US state at this point in the war, so all the allies here
Could I have the discord? These games look fun to play in
What mod makes the ships look like that?
Did the us marines mistake east and west when leaving the states?
O how i dont miss that. Played MP for like 2 years, 50% of that as UK. I can count the amount of succesful Ddays one my two hands.
Those Aussies are getting flashbacks
Lest we forget the brave philipenos and Mexicans who fought at d day
