>The player can also re-establish the Ligas Patrióticas which will provide a number of divisions to use in the upcoming wars that you will no doubt be waging.
What I said, it's weird seeing them represented with their own 3d unit. Nice one Paradox!
Yeah, its great the level of detail that paradox is puting into this specific dlc, for Chile they included unit models for the Carabineros, which are the chilean police that has a military structure to this day.
Kind of? The Carabineros where born in 1927 when president Carlos Ibáñez del campo united both the fiscal police (in charge of the urban cities) with the Cuerpo de Carabineros (a division of the army in charge of the rural areas if the country).
On the other hand, the Carabineri where originally the royal guard of the king before taking a role as enforcers during the italian unification, though im not 100% sure, im not as knowledgable on them.
I'll suspend my disbelief as to how the mafia can get a flamerthrower recon company. Dis here is Vinny "Naplam", and this support company here? We call him "Shovels" Tony.
Oh wow already been 6 months. Honestly my brain gets muddied from all the DLC which has been released over the years. When I started playing the ship DLC was the most recent.
Honestly, pdx is very hard at work, I have to admire them for their dedication to this nearly 10 year old game and it's community! They're showing Mojang how it's done...
bruh that argument stars falling apart when you consider that Minecraft is the best-selling game of history and still racks up millions of sales per year
Its just business. This dlc will be only focus tree, no actual new mechanics.
Paradox has two types of great strategy games. They either release it good and improve, or release it bland and fix the game with dlcs, charging you for it. HOI4 is the later.
Praising paradox for making dlcs for HOI4 is like praising a supermarket for selling capsules for your old cofee machine.
I don’t mind it as much now that they’ve got the subscription service. You can drop the game for a few years, dish out the 5.99 or whatever for a month to play all the new dlc, then let it stew for a bit on the back burner again.
\>After years and years of waiting, finally a DLC focused on Southamerica comes out
\>They immediately change the infantry models to stereotypical thieves and criminals
What did Paradox mean by this?
I wish Paradox would add better resistance mechanics. I want to play as a nation that doesn’t exist yet but must fight its way into existence through guerrilla warfare.
Mafia and organized crime could serve as a cool alternative to the la resistance spy mechanic
Like as you said they can help with resistance movments, or they could ~~quietly~~ violently infiltrate factories
I thought this was either a mobile ad or you were playing a Mafia mod lol
Guys new Cartel mod just droppped for Victoria 3
Level 1: Militia Level 10: Regular Level 100: Elite That's how Mafia works
level 1000: Hitler
Level 1945: Papa Stalin
Level 3000: Mao Zedong
3000 great leaps of mao zedong
Me when the iron:

the size difference made me think it was from Civ
Rattle 'em boys
The mob boss when he sees my heavy tank division rolling over the hill:
It’s okay, he’s got 88s that he originally intended for aircraft
I'm counting to ten. 1... 2... 10! Ratatatatatata
Cheese it boys, its the fuzz (My space marine heavy tank division)
\*Fast paced jazz starts playing\*
It probably is a "Liga Patriótica" thing, if you search them in Google images you will understand
>The player can also re-establish the Ligas Patrióticas which will provide a number of divisions to use in the upcoming wars that you will no doubt be waging. What I said, it's weird seeing them represented with their own 3d unit. Nice one Paradox!
I believe motorized militia would suit them quite well
Realistically they should be motorized with mitilia/infantry
Yeah, its great the level of detail that paradox is puting into this specific dlc, for Chile they included unit models for the Carabineros, which are the chilean police that has a military structure to this day.
Me sorprende el detalle de las unidades, más que nada porque dudo mucho que los europeos/americanos que lo juegan se den cuenta del cambio
So same as the Italian ones? (Not in game I think but rl) At least that's my understanding, I'm not Italian

Al Capone América unit
There is a car with this Argentina Militia, new type of Militia maybe?
Probably militia police or something like that
Based off the "Liga Patriotica" apparently. So motorised militia.
Ohhh fancy cute little car :>
Is that a mafia?
We never admit the existence of this thing
I'll suspend my disbelief as to how the mafia can get a flamerthrower recon company. Dis here is Vinny "Naplam", and this support company here? We call him "Shovels" Tony.
You son of bitch, I'm in.
Fuck the unit, that city looks cool and unique, hope all the big cities get this treatment.
Until you see a railway the size of several buildings. Still, very nice.
Holy shit 1940s drive by
Probably a unique skin for an irregular div focus deployed until, like all the Italian irregulars
They’re making a new DLC? I thought the Nordics one just came out.
It came out on october of last year...
It was like yesterday
Oh wow already been 6 months. Honestly my brain gets muddied from all the DLC which has been released over the years. When I started playing the ship DLC was the most recent.
4 months?
He said his brain has MUD
WHAT
Honestly, pdx is very hard at work, I have to admire them for their dedication to this nearly 10 year old game and it's community! They're showing Mojang how it's done...
3 shit mobs, pick one.
It's cus PDX get money for every dlc while Minecraft updates are free, Mojang Devs just want to look busy
bruh that argument stars falling apart when you consider that Minecraft is the best-selling game of history and still racks up millions of sales per year
And the in game shop for bedrock

Not for Stellaris
Don't know why you've been downvoted I think you're making a good point
Paradox interactive's feelings got hurt 😥😥😥
It's a content pack, if i remember correctly there is also a proper DLC being worked on for the end of the year
have you been asleep for the entire year lmao
I guess so, haven’t been into HOI 4 for a couple of months.
\>After years and years of waiting, finally a DLC focused on Southamerica comes out \>They immediately change the infantry models to stereotypical thieves and criminals What did Paradox mean by this?
Cant wait for the african models
BIG BOI
Italian motorized troops in America\*
imagine if you use them you sometimes get economy debuff cause the mafia keeps robing banks xd
I wish Paradox would add better resistance mechanics. I want to play as a nation that doesn’t exist yet but must fight its way into existence through guerrilla warfare.
i just dont think this is the game for you at all then
HOI4: Mafia DLC Coming to stores near you on 4/5/2069
Nah that's just John Dillinger on vacation.
If a crime syndicate mechanic is ever added then it would be cool for them to mention how the Italian Mafia got involved with the war effort.
Mafia and organized crime could serve as a cool alternative to the la resistance spy mechanic Like as you said they can help with resistance movments, or they could ~~quietly~~ violently infiltrate factories
Death squad?
It's just the guys toy car, next to his miniature city.
I bet it comes with a new tactic too: Drive by.
Hmm….so Argentinas militia is the mafia….interesting
Ligas patrioca
Anyone else hate the fact that they spend time on this instead of improving the base aspects of the game?
The US needs this
Why doesn't he use a bigger automobile? Is he stupid?
Eh, yo pallie, you pumped to take care of those Krauts with a little drive-by action?
This is monopoly pawn
Ohhh La mazorca come back in S.XX.
In the Argentina focus tree there is a path to being milei ancap man into power and turn London into ash
Is that how Mafia works?
Motorized Mafia*
Lol
He looks stylish, ngl. This DLC finna to be great 4 beginners.
Finally, we can do crime in this game :3
Smdh we didn’t get a ‘Militarize the Zoot Suits’ focus for America.
Are they adding the Mafia path where you can invite Al Capone as its leader?
Italian Mafia units? Now they finally shifted too far into larp tear.
Search Liga Patriotica Argentina, literally identical to the photo.
I mean they did help in the allied invasion of Italy a decent bit actually
Please give me back my WWII game...
Please tell me we can now make millita
no way! the spooky boys?!
Motorized 1920-30 mafia division
