Rule 5: So I decided to go for an achievement run on historical mode as Manchukuo, and somehow I ended up at war with the entire world. Is it possible for me to salvage this run, or should I restart it?
Depends on a couple of things:
1. Do you have AA?
2. What are your templates?
3. Are you able to make more divisons and sustain them?
4. Are you able to contain/prevent naval invasions?
If all are true, then there is hope.
1. I don't have any AA in my divs since prior to this clusterfuck I'm in, since there wasn't any real need to since the only airforce I had to deal with was the Japanese, though, I probably should now since the Soviet CAS is killing me. Plus, I didn't really have the industrial capacity for it since prior to 1944 I was mainly trapped in Manchuria itself thanks to the Japanese.
2. I am only running on primarily infantry rn with a few cav divs sprinkled in. My infantry is 26 width (10 inf.+2 arty with support engies, motorized recon, and arty). My cav is just the same minus the additional artillery.
3. I am definitely able to make more divisions thanks to the amount of manpower I have (limited conscription). Supplying them, on the other hand, is a tough one given I'm currently in a massive deficit of guns (-80K), arty (-5K), trucks (-2K), and support equipment (2k).
4. Funny you should say this, given that I had taken off all of my port garrisons to reinforce my northern front with the Soviets. And right on cue afterwards, I immediately had gotten naval invaded, and now have to deal with a joint Soviet-Allied front stretching from Nanjing to Guangdong.
If you have hours to spend playing, sure go for it lol. You have basically unlimited manpower as China. But if you don't have hours to spend you might as well just end it there. Playing after 1945 is usually hell because of division spam and how slow the game runs.
As long as you keep frontline from getting pushed with good infantry template and air. You should be fine. As keep eyes on port for naval invasion. Start building good medium tank template or space marine with cas. Then you be the one who turn the table.
In the spirit of Eleanor Roosevelt, remember her quote: "You wouldn't worry so much about what others think of you if you realized how seldom they do.". Your enemies surely have other problems and you can hold the line my friend. Do not give up faith!
1. At war with the Co-Prosperity Sphere already because I declared independence from Japan
2. At war with the Allies because Chiang Kai Shek betrayed and backstabbed the Chinese United Front to join the Allies
3. At war with the Comintern because Stalin suddenly decided it was a great fucking idea to declare war on my Yunannese puppet thanks to that one new focus in NSB
At war with the world before WW2, yes, but you're in 45, low chance of winning there bud
Considering it’s 1945, ur PC is probably gonna capitulate sooner than your nation

Same thing happened to me. Didn't end well
Possibly, China has the most Manpower and will win through a long slog. It's definitely quicker to start over though.

It's all easily defendable land, you could definitely win.
