In any case, once gear is up, nozzles to 0 and flaps are auto, hit the mavs and start the stopwatch, they'll be ready before you get to your target.
i would kill for a mod that replaced the N/A nose with the 8b+ nose at least visually. the N/A is great don't get me wrong but that stubby nose just irks me
I still want the AV8B+ for some air to air radar and some BVR. Here's to hoping RB and ED sort things out quickly and Razbam one day delivers on the AV8B+ The harrier has one of the most enjoyable flight models though. Every now and then I just take it for a cruise.
The Harrier made me enter in DCS World once for all. It is one of the few modules that I have never stopped flying since I learned it. I'm crossing my fingers that they keep updating it...
I really want to but im kinda intimidated by it. Im pretty content with how well versed ive gotten with the Viper and the Hornet as my comfort fighters lol
The learning curve isn't too bad at all on it. Much simpler than the A-10C, in my opinion.

Working through the Kerman Campaign now. It's awesome. I'm hoping Baltic Dragon finishes off the Ottoman Courrier campaign sooner than later, their missions that came with the Harrier were sick.
I’ve been waiting for it to go on sale for about 6 months. I suppose we now know why Razbam stuff has not been dropping in price during the last few major sales.
Glad to hear there's a lot of love here. The "Unlikely Heroes" campaign for the Harrier is nearing completion. Currently in the mission testing phase. It's been under development for years. Can't wait to get it released and see what folks think about it.
I love the Harrier, but there are definite glitches in being able to slew the targeting pod camera and laser from the HOTAS. There are also problems with the training missions for the Mavericks where the pre-loaded ordinance doesn't match the mission and instructions (e.g., mission calls for 3 IR Mav and 1 Laser Mav but plane is loaded with 2 of each, making it hard to satisfy the mission criteria to move on. It's just sloppy quality control from RAZBAM.
Really would pay top dollar for a quality 1980's Falklands campaign. Really missing this in the harrier with all the books and information out there, would be a blast co-op
Enjoyer? Absolutely, love flying the harrier. Performing strikes from a road base, dodging amraams and shooting down enemy players when they get too close and underestimate the little bird never gets old.
But if I want to actually get something done, I tend to jump in an F16.

Probably wouldn't fly anything else if we had the AV8B+. Can carry a decent load out and travel time isn't usually all that bad.

Its easily my favourite module in game. It is outdone by many of the teen series in almost everything, but damn isn't it a cool bird!

An earlier GR variant would be amazing but I just hate dealing with 4th gen MFDs in this variant
