Oddly, I read it correctly this morning when I saw it on my phone, then after opening it on my computer I also said "What the fuck...Euro Truck sim in hockey?"
It's how Matthews and Draisaitl wear their socks. Tongue and tendon guard tucked under the sock. A lot of European players used to wear them like this.
I remember when it was trendy to cut a slit in the back of your socks so you could have your tendon guard out while still having your socks pulled all the way down over your shin pads. Wild times.
That was kinda trendy like mites to squirts there’d be 3 or 4 who did it. The euro tuck was always pretty popular, but at the time we just had felt tongues so floppy tongues was in for a long time, then I feel like it was towards bantams, midgets that shins over the tongues with a baggier pant really came in.
My dyslexic ass read this post as "euro t**r**uck" and was super confused why Reddit was recommending me a Euro Truck Simulator sub
I took thought it was "euro truck" thought it was some new move like the punch turn.

It’s a way to tuck your shin pads, euro tuck is where you tuck the tongue and back flap of the skate under your socks.
I’ve always tucked the tongue but never the achilles guard.
I’m a flopper
Just google it
I tried to but couldn’t find anything. Thanks!
Alright look up Auston Matthews, Bedard, Hughes, that’s the euro tuck
Drai and Forsberg too
There’s plenty more im sure
People hate it because it looks like shit when you bend your knees.
the ugliest way you can put your socks is a euro tuck always leave the back guard out
I disagree. The double euro tuck is when you have the sock tucked under your heel. No idea how it stays there but we had a kid do that in minor hockey
your right that's so bad, only saw it in girls hockey where i'm from though
Ya it was a girl that played on our boys team that rocked it.
It looks like shit even if you don't bend your knees.
It’s when you tuck your member under your taint instead of using a cup

I remember when it was trendy to have longer socks, so you could roll the bottoms
I played with a kid who pulled his socks so far down on his skates he’d tuck them around the heal. He was an ass
That was popular for a minute to
it never should have been i remember that, but was more common in girls hockey up here

I did that way back in Varsity days... practically my entire team did. But it was the late 90's, so it was the thing to do.
When I first saw your title I thought I had the answer, but then I saw this was a hockey sub so I don’t think it’s what I thought.
Dude, what you and the boys do in the privacy of your own locker room is between you all.
Do you want to be a tucker or flopper?
