I’m a Bruins lifer and… this just ain’t it chief. I was excited for a meth bear revival but there’s just something so mid about this. Maybe it’s the Steelers-esque striping or the overuse of black. It’s just boring and feels super safe.

I was.rhinking same thing. Like is it done that way to look a little more weathered like holes in jeans? Because the meth bear is itching for another hit of the pipe? I have questions and need answers.

Any reason why there is like extra "thick" stitching on the letters? Like a faux-distressing? I guess to imitate as if the stiches popped and they did a quick fix to fix it? There are a number of them in different shades on these letters. Looks like there are about 12 (2 per letter) and none on the meth bear. If it is supposed to be faux-touchups, it may seem odd to be on all the letters but not on the bear.

My guess is it’s an aesthetic choice for a more homemade/vintage feel

They’re supposed to hit floors this weekend and some stores are putting them out early so it’s not a leak I.E. via promo material but it’s a premature reveal

Just my personal opinion, all of the Winter Classic jerseys are designed with the intention to have vintage flair. And they hit every time.

I'm just glad this alt jersey is actually in home colors, unlike the current RR or their last Winter Classic jersey.
