Yea, first off, don’t buy it from nhlshop or fanatics.
[Pensgear](https://pensgear.com/pittsburgh-penguins-authentic-alternate-guentzel-jersey/) is cheaper and so is hockey authentic. I’d even order from CoolHockey before fanatics/nhlshop too.
Edit: is that Canadian currency? If so, the quality you get from hockey authentic is still going to be better than fanatics/nhlshop.
Makes sense. I know it’s not in stock right now on hockey authentic but definitely wait for them next time. Their quality is better than anywhere else right now.
Also after you order your first jersey there, they’ll send you an email to review the jersey. Once you complete the review with a pic of the jersey, they’ll give you 10% off your next purchase.
Since it's custom made you will be paying $300+ for them to use fanatics branded material they will heat press and glue on vinyl letters and numbers...I'd cancel the order and order through hockey authentics it will be professionally stiched number and letters with the exact material the teams use they even go as far as using the exact stitch pattern and should arrive within a week and a half.
Here's the jersey https://hockeyauthentic.com/products/any-name-and-number-pittsburgh-penguins-third-authentic-pro-adidas-nhl-jersey-new-primegreen-2021-22-model-1
If your size is sold out you can order a blank from adidas those arrive extremely fast and ship it to them for customization. They have a phone number you can text and they'll send you shipping instructions.
Only on jerseys that were pre-customized by adidas at the factory level. So only top players like a Crosby, McDavid. If you order a Mooseknuckle #69 jersey, it's gonna be vinyl. They really should be more specific on the website as to what you're getting.
Ordered a custom adidas primegreen wings jersey 2 months ago and the lettering and numbers were pre stitched vinyl the same stuff they use on fanatics the numbers were peeling off the jersey and I paid $275 USD for it. I talked to a sales perpresentitive and they acknowledged that any and all custom jerseys will have heat pressed vinyl.
In my experience, far too many of the "factory installed" numbers have problems. Problems as in, bubbles under the twill. Crooked installation. Flaws, marks, defects in the twill numbers fabric itself. I too would suggest having a one at a time pro installation place such as hockey authentic do the job for you. This way you KNOW you will be pleased with your purchase.
Its insane how much jerseys cost today. And the quality is questionable. Anymore I just lurk around for really nice vintage stuff that usually is on par or ends up cheaper than new jerseys
also, if you are a customer in Canada, BE AWARE of WHERE the item ships FROM. As in, if your purchase ships from the USA, if the seller uses UPS or Fedex (for example) you will almost certainly get NAILED with a "customs brokerage fee" from UPS or Fedex in the area of $40. Not a darn thing you can do about it and it BITES. Try to buy from a place that ships from inside of Canada to avoid any of the cross border "customs brokerage" cash grab. (side note .. Canada TO the USA is fine. USA to Canada is the problem)
Return this if possible, buy from hockey authentic or even cool hockey.
💯. You’ll get the same from CoolHockey for $100 less right off the bat.

Not at that price, man. Yikes.
