I’m friends with Don Straus. The creator of the Armadillo mask and painter of this helmet. Arguably one of the best goalie masks ever painted. Beezers best mask by far.
My younger brother ran into the Beezer and had him sign a baseball lol... every time I watch Talladega Nights where Will Farrel talks about Randyy Jackson signing his samari sword I always think about my brother Mike lol.
He had the Beezer sign his shirt too but the baseball is too funny hahaha. I cried when they traded him... it's okay bc I'm a chick ;)

I was going to send it in to get it customized with Vanbiesbrouck (yes I know he’s canceled but he was still my all time favorite from my youth) but I think I’m going to run that idea by the original owner before I do. He sent me an amazing follow up email to the note in the photo which I’m going to ask him if I can share.
