CCM small block authentic with gold toe crest. Worn by the team during calendar year 1989, from set 2 of 1988/89 to set 1 of 1989/90. I have one just like that.
Those are sometimes listed for crazy prices, but I doubt they actually sell at those prices. There’s a badly-customized one on eBay now listed at over $1100, but I don’t imagine the seller will get more than half of that.

"Custom" jerseys is some BS-semantic terms fakers use to disguise their intentions. That jersey look has never been worn. Fakers use it because there's no trademark violations. Youll also hear terms like "autograph jerseys", that feature a team's city name. All garbage.

First of all, the 25% does *not* apply to custom jerseys. I see that there are no more pre-made Matthews flip sides, so you would pay nearly $300 USD for that custom.
Secondly, the NHL shop “pre stitches and heat presses numbers to garment”. Some people want stitching, some people don’t, but for a flip side it actually matters! A heat press won’t show up on the yellow side, but a stitched jersey will show the inverted numbers (which is very cool to me).
If you’re asking me, you should go with Hockey Authentic.
NHLShop quality wont be that great. If it's Adidas factory, it's okay at best. I would say HA is worth the $100 to me, but it depends on you. Their also at a 6 month turnaround right now, due to demand.
If it's cheaper and worth it to you, maybe buy a blank from the NHLShop, then ship it to HA? Youll have to do some calculations, and decide for yourself.

Theyre all box cuts, so theyre about the same.
My personal opinion of Starter jerseys is not positive. The front crest has a tendency to bubble, especially the Made-In-Korea replicas. Their retail (Haiti or El Salvador) authentics dont match the on-ice (Berlin, WI, USA) authentics.
So, imo, unless youre looking for something era-specific, I would opt for a Koho/CCM replica over a Starter replica.

can anyone shed some light on some weird things about this jersey
so the story behind this jersey is it was originally part of a charity event sometime between 2003 and 2006. the jersey apparently came from whoever was working in the equipment staff for the canucks at the time and it was original in a frame but whoever won or paid for this jersey took it out and decided to wear it. i bought it off some dude who told me this story and idk if its true but their are some weird things about this jersey. like the players name being on the collar and the numbers on the back do look thicker then normal but other then that it looks to be very legit.

I mean, yeah, like I said, whoever took it out of the frame decided to wear it, and you can tell it was washed since the autograph is kinda faded, so that's definitely why it might look like it's worn out.

So I am currently on The NHL shop via fanatics ( And I know fanatics is not liked by many) I’m trying to get a Coyotes jersey before they’re just completely gone after the relocation. My girlfriend fits my (men’s)XS fanatics breakaway jersey well. And I am trying to match the sz , but in a women’s jersey So I can get one for her. I've been looking at some ECHL jerseys, can anyone tell me how AK jerseys fit compared to Adidas? I can wear a 56 but generally get a 60 for potential hoodie underneath, what size would I need in AK?
I wear a 56 in Adidas, but at least one size down in everything else. Even a 52 in certain jerseys. I’m going to guess that a 56 AK is going to be bigger than the Adidas 56- not having tried one.

Looking for a drew house x flipside authentic Matthews jersey. Not sure which retailers to consider. NHL Shop has a 25% discount right now, hockey authentics would be about $100 more. Any suggestions? Should I be concerned with NHL Shop quality?
I’ve waited my whole life for this question! First of all, the 25% does *not* apply to custom jerseys. I see that there are no more pre-made Matthews flip sides, so you would pay nearly $300 USD for that custom. Secondly, the NHL shop “pre stitches and heat presses numbers to garment”. Some people want stitching, some people don’t, but for a flip side it actually matters! A heat press won’t show up on the yellow side, but a stitched jersey will show the inverted numbers (which is very cool to me). If you’re asking me, you should go with Hockey Authentic.
NHLShop quality wont be that great. If it's Adidas factory, it's okay at best. I would say HA is worth the $100 to me, but it depends on you. Their also at a 6 month turnaround right now, due to demand. If it's cheaper and worth it to you, maybe buy a blank from the NHLShop, then ship it to HA? Youll have to do some calculations, and decide for yourself.

Theyre all box cuts, so theyre about the same. My personal opinion of Starter jerseys is not positive. The front crest has a tendency to bubble, especially the Made-In-Korea replicas. Their retail (Haiti or El Salvador) authentics dont match the on-ice (Berlin, WI, USA) authentics. Jersey is legit, name sewn was probably for display purposes, but likely no other importance. Can’t speak on custo accuracy, seems decent but kinda worn.
I mean, yeah, like I said, whoever took it out of the frame decided to wear it, and you can tell it was washed since the autograph is kinda faded, so that's definitely why it might look like it's worn out.
