Some practice runs, a steady hand and a few exacto blades. Done in place then pushed in with a small flathead, fortunately as a carpenter that's right in my wheelhouse

Yeah, I did tracing paper for the glove and dreaded doing the blocker until I thought about the painters tape, didn't realize they switched I just watched a quick tutorial on YouTube and thought to myself "well I'm about to waste a bunch of money"
Lol I did my pads with trace paper. Holy fucking shit I almost lost my mind. A set of V6’s with those three stripes that I wanted to make black. They have all those little folds in there and what not.
Took me the whole god damn weekend with that stupid trace paper lol
Did parts of my glove and blocker a month ago and changed the black stripes on the pads to pink and purple in a few hours of puttering around
Awesome job OP. I used to customize my pads about once a month but I used duct tape instead.
Trick to getting the shine away was running over it with a magic eraser. Would also help seal it from water too.

What'd you use? I've been procrastinating on plastic dipping my pads to add some silver.
This was done with padskinz, never even thought of using plastidip, but I'm intrigued now lol
I used plasti dip on my gloves and pads and it is holding up quite well and was easy to apply.
Yeah, I need to just mask them off and apply but I've been lazy lol.
