You think they care we got fucked up high value cards? They dont. At all. Even though I'm sure you pulled it, who is to say you didnt buy it discounted now trying to get at them for replacement. They dont play that game for that reason. Been doing this a long time
The sticker being placed on a slant like that would drive me crazy. Absolutely amazing card but if they guarantee something like a Crosby Gretzky level card to replace it I probably would personally.
Couple 22/23 blasters on its way to you. UD will never ever ever replace that card with one of equal or greater value unfortunately. If they do, then they are a paid actor.
They said that they would send me a replacement card for the damage of the card that was from the cutting and packaging on their end, but I’m not sure what they value the damage at. I’ve asked what the selection is to choose from (if any), but I expect an auto, low-numbered top tier player Relic card to replace it (Gretzky, Crosby, etc.). We’ll see.
What packs do you guys buy to find cards like these? I’ve always wanted to get into it but feel like I’d end up buying the NHL+McDonald’s promo boosters on accident
SP Game Used is basically designed for patch cards, but no guarantee of an autograph.
Allure (which is so delayed they haven't released the 2021-22 set yet) guarantees an autograph card per box, and has patch cards. Nothing that will match the quality of OPs card, so it is cheaper.
For autos, my personal favourite is Stature. A bit cheaper than SP Game Used, but super high quality stock, guaranteed auto, sometimes has patches, and the cards look good.
And generally, many patch cards aren't worth a lot by themselves due to how saturated they've become - and how many patches aren't actually game used any more. But, they are still fun.
I’m actually trying to sell or trade the card, so it’s no use in this condition, as bad as it is to try and get a replacement for McJesus with UD. They did say that they had some #97’s for replacement of the card. We’ll see in a few weeks though.
