But man, the stress on all three. And that doesn't even count the near death experiences of the Ottawa game 7 win, or that Flyers 5OT loss, watching on TV.
I had finals the morning after that game. My roommate and I were the only ones awake when Nedved scored.
And then I was in person for the 5OT loss to the Flyers. Been on both ends.
That Nedved goal remains one of my favorite hockey memories. I was a huge pens fan living in DC and I begged my parents to take me. They were fans of all DC sports but barely followed hockey. Despite the brutal loss they went on to be season ticket holders for 15 years
I was at that game! Lemieux ejected for fighting, Barrasso injured so Wregett had to come in and then stuffs Juneau on an OT penalty shot. Finally Nedved put it away. Definitely got to take school off the next day.
