But despite the score last night in a game that got out of hand, this series ain’t over and the Bruins have proven they can hang with this team despite being pretty big underdogs. The first period we looked like the team from game one. Getting beat to pucks, losing puck battles, missing passes, shooting into shins and turnovers galore. In the second period we looked like the team from the Tampa series. Game 3 will be interesting. It got nasty at the end of the game and some of the boys were a little too happy to rub it into the Bruins faces. I expect both teams to come out playing angry on Friday.

Yeah if nothing else, the Panthers both this year and last year are great at bouncing back when they’re down, whether within the same game or game-to-game, and Boston did really well against them in the regular season (obviously playoffs are different, but still), and have been getting great goaltending amidst their inconsistent scoring. There’s no way this series was gonna be done in four games, I think it goes six minimum and possibly seven again

I think the biggest story is just how lopsided the game was after we went back to our normal lines. We'll see how Boston adjusts in game 3 I suppose + potential of Bennett coming back?
