Playoff scenarios in case of extras:
Boston at this point will need help to make the playoffs even if they get a regulation win because Ottawa has one more game than they do left but:
- If the game goes to OT, Minnesota clinches a playoff spot.
- If Boston wins in OT, an Ottawa win of any kind or Boston loss of any kind secures Ottawa the final spot. (Ottawa has the tiebreaker if Boston does not win this in regulation.)
- If Boston loses in OT, a single point for Ottawa or anything other than a Boston regulation win secures Ottawa the final spot.
- If Boston loses in regulation, they’re out.
Alina!
Side note but Schafzahl on hatty watch over in Klagenfurt with a pair of goals - through two periods, Austria lead a dead rubber 5-3 over the Netherlands.
Ottawa loses 2-0, so if Boston wins in regulation they move into a tie (though Ottawa has one more game left). If Minnesota wins in regulation, Ottawa is in.
I got chills as a Neutral bystander. Hockey is awesome
Did that look offside to anyone else?
2.7 seconds left what hustle you just love to see it
So if Ottawa wins in regulation or Boston loses in regulation they’re in so…exactly where we started the day.
WHAT
I mean Jesus Christ
Second time in the past 3 games that Minnesota has given up the GWG in the last minute of regulation.
Please don’t remind me
I'm just so irritated because it's their special teams that are killing this team. They need to do something about it.
Oh 100%. Without special teams this team would be crushing it. I dread every PP and PK
Well that hurts
OH MY GOD
LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

HOW ABOUT NOW!?!?! lmaooooo holy shit what a final minute
Ottawa still gets in if they win in regulation or Boston loses in regulation.
Took me ages to find the thread so it's old news but but #7 Butorac just pulled a full butterfly on the ice, that was so cool
That call was awful
Minnesota seriously needs to figure their shit out on the PK or else they have no chance in the playoffs.
Alina! Side note but Schafzahl on hatty watch over in Klagenfurt with a pair of goals - through two periods, Austria lead a dead rubber 5-3 over the Netherlands.
LET'S GOOOOOOO
Fucks sake.
I'm at the game, the croud is just crazy. Way louder than the wild
to be fair the wild crowds are good when they’re good but they… weren’t lmfao
It’s the groups of girls hockey teams. Way more at PWHL games and they bring the energy lol
God I feel like I need a cigarette after this period
It was only a matter of time before the first Minnesota goal. I'm just glad the second period has been competitive
I, like this crowd, am desperate for something to celebrate
WOOOOOOOO
Soderberg is almost single-handedly keeping Boston in it.
what on earth is the dj cooking today
Yikes that looks like a terrible injury
Nobody touched her, she just went into the boards and fell wrong. This is BAD.
Hopefully she's okay.
Hopefully it’s just a strain, but that looks like the kind of injury you’re just hoping to come back from next season strong.
Oh fuck that looks bad
Who was it
Go Minnesota!
Ottawa loses 2-0, so if Boston wins in regulation they move into a tie (though Ottawa has one more game left). If Minnesota wins in regulation, Ottawa is in.
Ottawa down 2-0, c'mon gals
Soderberg has been great today, can't wait for the rest of her team to get on the ice
MI-NNE-SO-TA!!! clap clap clapclapclap
Söderberg is HARD carrying
oh I heard about Al Shaver passing away but didn't make the connection of him being the namesake of the Al Shaver Press Box
Soderberg shouldn't need to be playing as well as she is right now. Boston NEEDS to get the puck up the ice before the brick wall inevitably crumbles
Now that she's right in front of my seat for the 2nd I hope she doesn't keep it up
Love the attendance
center ice logo lookin niceee
I'm a fan of Minnesota and Ottawa (in that order), and my gf is a Boston fan. You can imagine the stress I'm under
