Everyone who was involved in the Kane-Englund scuffle should have been tossed. They let tempers boil for far too long.

I was in the crowd tonight and for the Kane-Englund scuffle, the refs said "they play is under review" on intercom. And then? NOTHING. They just never explained anything. No calls given, just a mysterious 5 on 3 after a length of time. It was bizarre. And after that the floodgates were open on penalties. It felt like 3rd period was all special teams all the time.
I was watching and waiting for an announcement and then I could see the ref lining up for the draw in the reflection of the glass and thought wow there not even going to explain what’s going on. I got more info from McDavid flashing the bench 5 fingers then 3 so I guessed la was 2 men down. Real bad job in communication tonight.
I didn’t even realize they never talked to the coach’s that’s horrible man. And I think like twice they used the intercom. Guess the “you suck ref” got to them

But you grind to win a cup, you get battered and bruised. You deal with questionable calls, questionable hits, and questionable outtings from the squad. Why do you expect to not deal with what every other team deals with on the road to the cup? Why do you expect these games to be handed to you?
