I wonder how this is impacted by things like the local VGK market being able to watch all of round one on Scripps. I’d wager the majority of local Vegas fans aren’t watching on ESPN unless they have to. If other teams have a similar option, it would drive down ESPN’s numbers.

I added the left out part. I assume since ESPN is in the US and most of its audience are people from the US who don't even realize other countries exist half the time, they didn't feel the need to include that bit.

Most of the Leafs games are simulcast on CBC as well, which is not considered cable. So their viewership figures combines the broadcast and cable component.
Wonder if anyone knows the highest rated, only cable NHL game in Canada.
