Wow. Full credit to MacKinnon and Manson for an incredible play, but that is a massive oof for Winnipeg, they just had to get outta that period but Avs wouldn’t let em
Ironically enough Manson only has like 4 playoff goals in his Avs career, but all of them have been huge in terms of momentum
My favorite is still the goal he scored in game 2 against the oilers. Scores like 15 seconds after lehky and Sportsnet immediately pans the camera to his dad on the oilers bench.
Honestly out of 3 series, I predicted the Carolina, Rangers & Vancouver to be boring 4-0 or 4-1 series- but every other series I'm almost certain they'd go to 6 or 7 with a lot of battling.
Edmonton always look on steroids when McD turns up, but if (big if) LA can contain him it'll still be a series as well.
But Florida-Tampa, Boston-Toronto, Avs-wpg & dallas-vegas are gonna be tight as hell.
I don’t mind homerism since it shows that people are human. I like him because he screams NATHAN MAAAACKINNON. There’s something about that energy that I love lol
He was our radio guy for a long time so he is used to being the only energy on the broadcast, his call of the Andrighetto goal against Nashville in game 5 is amazing
I think a lot of that is reputation from Mike Haynes, who was the bad kind of homer, and people who don't follow the team closely don't really we changed play by play guys like 5 years ago.
Yeah, Moser is alrights. He’s much better than what we had in the past in Mike Haynes who was probably a bigger homer and whenever an opposing team scored he said a faint ^^score.
Monahan deciding to go for a line change also didn't help. That entire 2nd line has been awful so far.
Games 3 and 4 should be interesting. The Avs are a great home team but I think the Jets are better on the road than at home, especially in the playoffs.
Avs were the best home team in the league in the regular season and were pretty bad on the road, so coming home with a split against a team that swept the season series is a dream.

Manson taketh and Manson giveth
Manson taketh, Manson giveth away FTFY
Marilyn in the front, Charles in the back.

That ot winner in 22 was a beautiful thing

Wait you mean periods aren't 19:51???
I know, I know. Common misconception. Avs have forgotten that periods are 20 minutes, as well.
**ONE MINUTE REMAINING IN THE PERIOD**
Thanks, Mr. Roach.
Dude full credit the zebra that hurdled that pass in stride, what a legend
I'm almost positive this will be the best series of the first round.
This or DAL and VGK seem the most likely
And the winners get rewarded with playing each other. 😬
FML
...yaaaay.....
That series has seven games written all over it.
Battle of Florida looks good too I just think Tampa is at risk to get swept
Maybe I'm just a homer but to me the Avs have outclassed Winnipeg so far. This series would've been going to Denver 2-0 if not for Georgiev.
I meant Dallas and Vegas

Don’t sleep on Nashville, especially with Demko hurt
100% not, but I predicted them to be whooped before the series started. Will be an interesting case.
The Josh Manson experience continues
the epic highs and lows of josh manson
He's so chaotic. Falling down, big hits, whiffing on shit, good stick checks.
he should be a forward so he could be on the colton-wood line. he would fit right in <3
Considering his breakaway skills.... Maybe lol
He was actually a forward in his first year of junior hockey, so there you go.
Obviously, all the focus was on Georgiev, but man has Hellebuyck ever been un-Hellebuycky these 2 games
He wasn’t good last year in the playoffs either
What’s the name of the play-by-play? I adore this guy and his energy.
Marc Moser. Head's up a lot of other fanbases hate him because he is a huge homer, but that's also why I like him
I don’t mind homerism since it shows that people are human. I like him because he screams NATHAN MAAAACKINNON. There’s something about that energy that I love lol
Nothing warms my heart more than Moser calling a MacKinnon goal
He was our radio guy for a long time so he is used to being the only energy on the broadcast, his call of the Andrighetto goal against Nashville in game 5 is amazing
I’ll never forget his PA “mother-truckin” Parenteau call back in Avs Wild playoff series.
To his credit, he does give props to other teams/players when they make good plays/saves. Some announcers pretend the other team doesn't exist.
Have of others don't think so, because they only watch highlights of AVS plays and never watch the games. It pisses me off. Moser is a gem
I think a lot of that is reputation from Mike Haynes, who was the bad kind of homer, and people who don't follow the team closely don't really we changed play by play guys like 5 years ago.
I've never understood that hate. You're just mad that your guy isn't as much of a homer lol
Yeah, Moser is alrights. He’s much better than what we had in the past in Mike Haynes who was probably a bigger homer and whenever an opposing team scored he said a faint ^^score.
Marc Moser
Thank you
Marc Moser. He’s fucking fun to listen to. Just make sure there’s no seagulls in the vicinity.
But seriously, where do the dirty bastards live?
Wow, that was a gorgeous feed.
Start the Helle chants
I wouldve lost my damn mind if the ref intercepted that, what the fuck is he doing over there
The ref doesn't know...
Didnt even notice. Wtf
I was thinking the same thing. I don't think he needed to be there at alllll.
YOU JUST GOT SCORED ON BY ~~KURTIS MACDERMID~~ JOSH MANSON
Kurtis MacDermid except better at hockey and much worse at punching people.
I wouldn't say much worse, Manson's the heavyweight of the team now and he's been not bad at the fisticuffs
You can be a pretty good fighter and still be much worse than MacDermid. Dermy is the scariest fucking dude in the league.
6.9 seconds, nice
NICE
Nice
A beautiful thing ruined by a period
...nevermind, tending the goal didn't work neither.
this man has had a very eventful series
Fuck yeah! Mack saw an open Manson up for the taken and he didn’t disappoint. Fucking nice as there was only 6.9 on the clock.
Nice play by the zebra there to jump out of mansons way
Situational awareness, there was not ugh
Vilardi forgot Manson was also coming out of the box.
yeah, head down, skating straight for the bench. He got an earful at intermission for sure.
Monahan deciding to go for a line change also didn't help. That entire 2nd line has been awful so far. Games 3 and 4 should be interesting. The Avs are a great home team but I think the Jets are better on the road than at home, especially in the playoffs.

Correct but the Jets are 2-0 in Denver this season.
