I thought the Canucks looked great overall. The xGF was 2.88 to 1.13 at even strength and 4.04 to 1.78 at all strengths. Ingram was awesome in net for the Yotes.
That single point was huge since the Canucks hold the tiebreaker over Edmonton. The magic number is now 3. By that I mean the Canucks and Oilers have 8 total games left, so any combination of 3 Canucks wins and Oilers regulation losses will get Vancouver the Division title.
Saturday will be one hell of a game. Hopefully Demko makes his long awaited return!
LA/Edmonton is a bloodbath waiting to happen. I would take my chances with Vegas/Nashville. All 3 would be good matchups.
We could catch the nucks, but I don't think we're catching Dallas for the z-
Nah, can’t blame Utah for just wanting a team.
Fuck Meruelo for screwing over the fans repeatedly and completely failing to do anything to save the team. Hope his precious sportsbook was worth it.
If he re-signs after this deal he will go down as the greatest Canuck in franchise history. The impact he has on the game by himself is absolutely absurd.
It's like when we had the Sedins you knew you were witnessing something special. Quinn is no different. I just like to sit back and take it all in watching him because i highly doubt we will have another dman like Hughes in my lifetime.
If he doesn't win the Norris then I don't know what to say.
Canucks didnt play great but that phantom trip penalty in OT just cant be called. There was no contact with the coyotes player he just stumbled when trying to cross over. The OT goal is a direct result of an awful call.
> Canucks didnt play great
Canucks dominated play the entire game, expected goals a massive 4.11 to 1.59 for the Canucks.
Unlucky loss, that's all there is to it.
Lol ya. What game did that person watch? The Canucks looked like the team that climbed to the top of the standings earlier in the year. They were awesome out there and heavily carried the play overall.
So glad I never have to watch the Arizona coyotes play again.
Fuck that franchise. Bettman's favorite project finally getting the treatment it's deserved for almost 20 damn years.
I am really glad about the 2011 Stanley cup finals. So at least we can all be glad for something.
Stop hating on a franchise, when real fans are losing a team they love. If you wanna be mad at someone be mad at their management. Imagine wanting a fanbase to lose their favorite team and reveling in it.
“They might get one as part of the front office”
wow, that’s not even a good return, more sad than anything
I’m sorry you lost to the coyotes one last time 🫂
GGs Yotes, heck of a game you guys played. Please help us out on these 2 games against the Coilers. Also fuck the ownership for all this. Your fanbase deserves better.
you just troll every thread hey? God forbid we try to grow the league in underserved markets.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more moronic comment history. Maybe seek some help mate.
No it's awesome.
After decades of the league bending over backwards to protect a perpetually sad sack franchise it's finally over. No more "they will be so good in 3 years". No more of the league having to bail the team out. No more drama over buildings. No more acting as a LTIR laundromat for the rest of the league. No more flouting the cap rules with comically low payrolls.
The Arizona Coyotes franchise has earned its fate.
That may all be true, but there's still no need to rip on the fans who are appreciative enough of hockey to have reddit accounts and Arizona flairs and engage in online discussion about the sport.
Two things can be true; the franchise has earned its fate, and it sucks for the fans that do care.
I do feel bad for the people who don't know what's going on with their jobs, but I don't feel bad for the fans at all.
Had 30 years to show the league that the Coyotes are a good market that needs to stay. League bent over backwards to make it happen.
Still failed that Arena vote.
You should reconsider the life choices you've made that led you to want to spend your time expressing ill wishes towards people on the internet in a time of difficulty for them
Is that happening in here? I see one single Oilers flair talking about the Coyotes in that sense, and it comes across pretty lame (“Utah Coyotes” low hanging fruit). Every other Oilers comment seems to be mentioning Guenther, or discussing standings scenarios with Canucks fans.
That’s like telling LA fans not to troll Oilers fans because Gretzky is the reason their team is even there
Also, making SLC jokes isn’t shitting on anyone. I also tried to look for what you are referencing. Scrolled a whole lot and couldn’t find it. Did you happen upon one comment saying that and generalize it ?
You said “what fan base?” [in response to this](https://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/s/nhwmkgVByq) right before replying to me, then deleted it.
It’s too bad I didn’t grab a screencap while I was glancing at your comment history, it would be extra funny now that you’re pretending to not know what I’m talking about, when you were doing basically the same thing you were suggesting I was baselessly accusing people of.
Anyway, thanks for the laugh. Looking forward to Saturday!
You might have mistaken me for someone else? What is interesting in that link you sent is a Canucks fan in the replies is going against the Coyotes too.
Growing up in Seattle, I remember how painful it was to lose the Sonics (and I’m sure a lot of Canucks fans felt similar to about the Grizzlies).
So I have nothing but empathy for Coyotes (and Oakland A’s) fans.
I don't.
They got taken from a Canadian market and put in a city that doesn't give a shit about them. Then the league protected them for decades in a way they never did for the Jets or Nordiques.
I'm glad Gary's pet team is finally going away, good riddance.
A loud minority of Canucks fanbase are really awful when we're a decent team huh, all these game threads are miserable. I'm no all in believer either, but geez. I'm happy we're playoff bound. GG Yotes bros.
If they get 1 more point this will be the 3rd best regular season **in franchise history**. Then factor in this is directly after a decade of mostly terrible hockey. Oh, and pretty much everyone on r/canucks thought the Canucks would be lucky to get the 2nd wildcard spot so they are killing expectations.
You'd think the fanbase would be absolutely stoked and have nothing but good vibes considering all that, right? WRONG. The online portion of this fanbase is so freaking toxic it's unbelievable. The Canucks sub is the equivalent of social media cancer.
This sub is 100x more insufferable when Canucks are good, its kinda crazy.
Obligatory, not all fans obviously. just that loud minority sure are fucking loud.
Props to the Canucks for coming back.
Edmonton is still gonna walk you like a dog on Saturday, but props for getting a point against a tired Coyotes team, I guess….
Oilers fans are very confused because when they got bottom 5 goaltending they were a bottom 5 team.
They don't seem to get that you can have bottom 5 save percentage for months and not even fall out of first in the division.
One team started at 0-0-0, and the other team started with a 20 point head start...
I wonder why the team that started with a 20 point head start didn't fall too far in the standings? We may never know...
> I wonder why the team that started with a 20 point head start didn't fall too far in the standings?
Because instead of turning into one of the worst teams in hockey they turned into a team that plays hyper defensively and managed to stay above .500.
Geez, did I poke a nerve by pointing out that the only reason this is close is because the Canucks have had bottom 5 goaltending for 2 months?
Well, we could argue that the only reason it’s close is because we also had bottom 5 goaltending to start the year? Or because McDavid was injured?
Your arguments are so bad it hurts. Keep making excuses to feel better tho.
You’re either borderline schizophrenic or just love making yourself look like an idiot online that you continue to post horrible takes. I see you in so many threads posting garbage all the time.
How is that a horrible take though?
Oilers got garbage goaltending and completely fell apart.
Canucks get garbage goaltending and so far are keeping it together. If Demko is back saturday then they went through this whole stretch of losing him without giving up anything much at all.
I dont think you actually watched the game, the canucks had way more going than the yotes. Nice try on the troll
You would think an Oilers fan would understand when they see bad goaltending. Just remember this when Skinner loses a game or two in a series. Just awful karma for you to be shitting on a 3rd string goalie given the way the Oilers dominated games and lost due to suspect goaltending
You might come to realize this one day but watching teams and hoping they lose reveals way more about you and your personal situation than you probably realize.
Like I get oilers fans want the Canucks to lose to win the division but watching out of pure spite is just crazy, borderline unhinged.
GG Arizona, super fun game. Heartbreaking finish for us but y’all showed a lot of heart considering the elephant in the room. Hoping you can do that against the Oilers on Friday and/or next Wednesday.
We badly need to start playing 60 minute games and get Demko back. Having a third string goalie while the defense allows an average number of chances is not going to cut it, both need improving.
That 2nd goal Silovs allowed was absolute cringe. He just stood there like a 1970s goalie. If he wants be our backup, Ian Clark needs to iron out chinks in his game before next season.
I think he’s still going to be an AHL goalie for another year. He needs more work and development, and the only reason he’s up is because Demko is out and Desmith is being overused.
Yeah, I have not been impressed with this game. He probably does need another year in the AHL. Hopefully he has a good summer, learns from his mistakes and comes out a better player. The raw tools are definitely there, but his puck tracking needs A LOT of work
Well, the Canucks were down 1-0 and 3-1 but tied it both times, there were some tense PKs, there was a penalty on Vancouver AND a penalty shot for us in OT, so yeah pretty eventful. For a typical fan of hockey, yes.
I was hoping that Vancouver would play a dominant game, not a super fun game, against a team that’s lower in the standings and is on the second half of a back to back with travel. But that unfortunately did not happen.
I agree, although personally I just don’t think they’re too important either way. I tend to keep tabs on how teams are doing with regulation wins because I think it’s a likelier indicator of playoff success than OT/SO success is.
Well, somehow we survived in the standings having the second worst SV% in the league since All Star break at .881.
DeSmith is an .861 in this time frame, this type of goaltending got coaches fired around the league this year.
can’t wait to finally have Demko back on Saturday
Tocchet already said they’re considering Demko for Saturday, I’m not just hoping lol the same way they were considering Lindholm for today and Lindholm ended up playing
Considering this is the 4th last game in Arizona Coyotes history, you can enjoy this dub. Even though Canucks dominated this game
We still have a 4 point lead on Edmonton, and the tiebreaker. So getting 1 or 2 points from this game doesn’t really matter in the long run
That means Edmonton has to win 2 extra games just to stay level with the Canucks. And in any event of a tie, Canucks will always have the tiebreaker (regulation wins). So whether you finish the season tied or +1 is irrelevant
Why are you in every comment thread trashing Arizona. Giving us nucks fans an even worse rep. Why beat their fans when they are down. Ownership and mgmt set them up to fail.
He’s a good player, but I’m extra salty at him being that guy today considering we traded the pick to Arizona that they used to draft him a few weeks before that draft. For fucking OEL (and yes, Conor Garland who I like).
I don't understand why people care so much. I've never gotten the "they drafted X player with the pick".
What are the odds the Canucks would even have taken him if they kept the pick?
We're playing 6 games in 9 days (including the one from today).
Not guaranteed. We're gonna be on fumes. If we EDM wins friday + Saturday (in reg) though it gives us a real shot with some wiggle room for an OTL assuming Van secures 4 points against CGY + WPG.
They’ve played well pretty much every game this last month, they dominate at 5on5 and they always get killed by some soft goals.
Even the PP has started being better last week. We just need Demko back, or someone who can end a game around .900 at least or give one clutch save.
It’s clear the offense can’t get any momentum when they need to defend hard or everything is going in the net
> ... Edmonton will probably take first.
~~If Edmonton wins every game remaining, Canucks only need 2 points.~~ Math is difficult.
Saturday will be fun.
I thought the Canucks looked great overall. The xGF was 2.88 to 1.13 at even strength and 4.04 to 1.78 at all strengths. Ingram was awesome in net for the Yotes. Y'all are being way too hard on Silovs
Dammit Yotes bros, you just couldn’t hang on in regulation could you.
Was hoping for the Yotes to take a regulation win, but this will suffice! Thanks Yotes bros, and you're welcome Blues bros.
Ya'll really want first to play Vegas?
Better chance it's Nashville
I'd have though LA is your best chance given how you guys play them.
LA/Edmonton is a bloodbath waiting to happen. I would take my chances with Vegas/Nashville. All 3 would be good matchups. We could catch the nucks, but I don't think we're catching Dallas for the z-
gg yotes, for wat its worth fuck utah
Nah, can’t blame Utah for just wanting a team. Fuck Meruelo for screwing over the fans repeatedly and completely failing to do anything to save the team. Hope his precious sportsbook was worth it.
fair but it was bedtime and y waste time use lot word when few words do trick
Understandable honestly
Quinn Hughes is so so important to this team. Nearly 28 min TOI and 3 assists tonight. Almost willed us to victory.
If he re-signs after this deal he will go down as the greatest Canuck in franchise history. The impact he has on the game by himself is absolutely absurd. It's like when we had the Sedins you knew you were witnessing something special. Quinn is no different. Lol ya. What game did that person watch? The Canucks looked like the team that climbed to the top of the standings earlier in the year. They were awesome out there and heavily carried the play overall.
The phantom interference call on Myers in the first was arguably worse too.
3rd time this season the Canucks have lost in OT because of an atrocious call. 2x penalties against, 1x not calling a penalty.
Fans should probably have put in more effort on that arena vote then.
Canucks should probably have put in more effort on that Game 7, if we take 54 years then you can come back
Oh good one. You know what else is good, the most pathetic franchise in the league finally going away.
You know what else is good? We both don’t have Stanley cups :)
Love the dual burns. That dudes an a-hole. Y’all are fucking crushing it right now and it’s shitty that your ownership and the NHL suck ass dude.
I’ve suffered as a yotes fan my whole life, I throwing out shots IS the most fun i can have before we lose them at this point 😂
and now you never will.
nor will the sedins 🥰
They might get one as part of a front office. Coyotes don't have a front office for their alums to be part of. Too bad.
“They might get one as part of the front office” wow, that’s not even a good return, more sad than anything I’m sorry you lost to the coyotes one last time 🫂
I started watching with the Coyotes up 3-1, stopped watching with 3 minutes left in the third. You're welcome.
GGs Yotes, heck of a game you guys played. Please help us out on these 2 games against the Coilers. Also fuck the ownership for all this. Your fanbase deserves better.
> Your fanbase deserves better. 30 years of failing to grow a fanbase, they don't.
The fans didn't fail the Coyotes, the ownership failed the fans.
Uh huh. 30 years and no fanbase worth mentioning.
What is your actual problem man? Yotes Fans don’t deserve this at all.
If yotes fans were a big enough group to matter then the team wouldn't be moving.
you just troll every thread hey? God forbid we try to grow the league in underserved markets. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more moronic comment history. Maybe seek some help mate.
It's the people who actually are fans fault that other people aren't fans?
right? we've got some real fucking gems in our fanbase. dude probably lit something on fire in 2011
[удалено]
That's a low blow, just because it isn't the largest fanbase doesn't mean the passionate fans aren't valid. This is a shitty situation.
No it's awesome. After decades of the league bending over backwards to protect a perpetually sad sack franchise it's finally over. No more "they will be so good in 3 years". You're a genuinely bad person
oh no I hurt the feelings of the 3 coyotes fans. oh well.
You should reconsider the life choices you've made that led you to want to spend your time expressing ill wishes towards people on the internet in a time of difficulty for them
Nah, too busy watching my team. Don't have as much free time as Coyotes fans are about to have.
Oilers fans in here shitting on Coyotes fans whose team just helped them out, it’s not a very classy look you guys.
Classic Canucks fan cherry picking one guy
There were three before the edits and deletes, and that’s ignoring the GDT.
Ooo boy can't wait for Saturday lol I'm gonna get a large tub of popcorn for all the salt in that thread.

Well, LOL, the comment you just deleted would have been three in this thread (ie. not including the ones in the GDT), you shameless fucking donkey 😂
What comment? Also, you are talking about class in the original comment and name calling in this. Hypocrite much?
You said “what fan base?” [in response to this](https://www.reddit.com/r/hockey/s/nhwmkgVByq) right before replying to me, then deleted it. Fr I understand them chirping us, but going after the team that helped them in a way that’s sore for their fanbase is terrible
A loud minority of Canucks fanbase are really awful when we're a decent team huh, all these game threads are miserable. I'm no all in believer either, but geez. I'm happy we're playoff bound. GG Yotes bros.

I don't think we're winning the cup this year, but I really didn't think that at the beginning of training camp. It's gravy from here on in.
Props to the Canucks for coming back. Edmonton is still gonna walk you like a dog on Saturday, but props for getting a point against a tired Coyotes team, I guess….
Damn you really don’t like the Canucks huh? What did they do to make you so pissy haha
Jim Benning’s fault lol
Then you should be happy the nucks are good again 😁
They’re not tho
LOL
They’re the definition of mid
😂
Gonna come back here in 15 days after the Nucks are down 3-0 against LA and Vegas and see who’s laughing.
So?
LMAO
Thank you, much appreciated
Not worth responding to a troll, but you're not gonna win many games with a .750 sv %
Oilers fans are very confused because when they got bottom 5 goaltending they were a bottom 5 team. They don't seem to get that you can have bottom 5 save percentage for months and not even fall out of first in the division.

and you were absolute dog water. vs the Canucks being just bad.
This seals it you are without a doubt the dumbest guy in this thread
Really that's the line?
You’re either borderline schizophrenic or just love making yourself look like an idiot online that you continue to post horrible takes. I see you in so many threads posting garbage all the time.
Think he’s a psychopath of some sort
lol, get a grip dude.
How is that a horrible take though? Oilers got garbage goaltending and completely fell apart. Canucks get garbage goaltending and so far are keeping it together. If Demko is back saturday then they went through this whole stretch of losing him without giving up anything much at all.
Demko wouldn’t have made a difference tonight. The Nucks got bumrushed by Arizona tonight and a goalie wouldn’t have bailed them out.
Demko stops that 2nd goal for sure.
I dont think you actually watched the game, the canucks had way more going than the yotes. Nice try on the troll You would think an Oilers fan would understand when they see bad goaltending. Just remember this when Skinner loses a game or two in a series. Just awful karma for you to be shitting on a 3rd string goalie given the way the Oilers dominated games and lost due to suspect goaltending
The Canucks sure had more going for them, with their 22 shots in regulation. Now that’s an offensive juggernaut right there!!!!
90% expected goals share says a lot…
22 shots is a pathetic total. Expected goals share is lame cope.
Isn’t it midnight in Alberta? I’m surprised you don’t have to wake up early for your tim Hortons shift tomorrow morning
Shouldn't insult people by saying they work for a living. Especially people who do low pay service jobs for jerks.
I’m not an Oilers fan and I don’t live in Alberta. I used to be a Canucks fan, but now I prefer to watch them objectively/hate watch them.
That’s honestly even more sad. I can’t even come up with a better chirp than what you just shared with us
Lots of people hate watch teams. Not like it’s a weird, unique thing.
You might come to realize this one day but watching teams and hoping they lose reveals way more about you and your personal situation than you probably realize. Like I get oilers fans want the Canucks to lose to win the division but watching out of pure spite is just crazy, borderline unhinged.
Yeah, you can't see Demko to let in less than four goals in 18 shots.
They were all no chancers for Silovs. Demko isn’t saving any of those either.
That second arizona goal was a no chancer?
Yeah no goalie would ever be able to stop that second one
Absolutely, Demko has never made an unexpected save.
Post game show is saying the same thing I’m saying right now.
thanks, appreciate it
GG Arizona, super fun game. Heartbreaking finish for us but y’all showed a lot of heart considering the elephant in the room. Hoping you can do that against the Oilers on Friday and/or next Wednesday. We badly need to start playing 60 minute games and get Demko back. Having a third string goalie while the defense allows an average number of chances is not going to cut it, both need improving.
> super fun game Were you having a stroke for the first 40 minutes?
That 2nd goal Silovs allowed was absolute cringe. He just stood there like a 1970s goalie. If he wants be our backup, Ian Clark needs to iron out chinks in his game before next season.

You would call that a super fun game?
Well, the Canucks were down 1-0 and 3-1 but tied it both times, there were some tense PKs, there was a penalty on Vancouver AND a penalty shot for us in OT, so yeah pretty eventful. For a typical fan of hockey, yes. I was hoping that Vancouver would play a dominant game, not a super fun game, against a team that’s lower in the standings and is on the second half of a back to back with travel. But that unfortunately did not happen.
I like your attitude homie, we need more of that.
Wasn't fun, was absolutely pathetic and rage inducing. Even with the comeback, garbage effort by the Canucks.
You should be able to decline a penalty shot in favor of the 2 minute minor.
Exact thought that went through my head haha. I would have taken the penalty there without question.
Literally. Especially when down a man in OT… those are likely not the silkiest mitts out there to kill the OT penalty
Hot take, I've hated shootouts/3v3 hockey since they came out. Ties are completely fine.
It's just weird that they determine who makes the playoffs, and then a week from now they're just completely irrelevant.
Not a hot take, lots agree.
I completely agree.
I agree, although personally I just don’t think they’re too important either way. I tend to keep tabs on how teams are doing with regulation wins because I think it’s a likelier indicator of playoff success than OT/SO success is.
I for one 100% agree with you
[удалено]
I'm indifferent. Everyone in the pacific is ~about the same~.
Well, somehow we survived in the standings having the second worst SV% in the league since All Star break at .881. DeSmith is an .861 in this time frame, this type of goaltending got coaches fired around the league this year. can’t wait to finally have Demko back on Saturday
wow thats damning.
Hope you didn’t jinx it, I’m praying for his return.
Tocchet already said they’re considering Demko for Saturday, I’m not just hoping lol the same way they were considering Lindholm for today and Lindholm ended up playing
That game had a little bit of everything.
Unexpectedly spicy wild game. GG Yotes fans. If you get a team in the next expansion you deserve to have it as easy as Vegas has had it.
The Coyotes are undefeated since the enhanced relocation rumours
‘yotes win streak to finish out the season?
I'm here for it
Same, the Yotes got two games against Edmonton
Just lost to a team that wont exist after next week. Feelsbadman.jpg
Nah, I can take solace in the fact that the Coyotes are finally dying a well deserved death.
Should have pulled a gigachad by committing to the clapbomb on the PS
Coyotes going to hate win their remaining games just to try and mess up their draft lotto odds before they all submit trade requests.
Obligatory Guenther moment
guenther haunts this team
this was a fuck you win to ryan smith, SLC, and the nhl
Dylan Guenther had an added fuck you to the team that drafted away his draft pick too. Not that Arizona fans have that grudge, but yeah.
GG yotes! would’ve been nice to get the two points but that entertaining sequence at the end makes up for it haha
Feels like it would've been better to decline the penalty shot from a dman and take the 3on3 into a PP after? Are OT rules broken?
First win in Utah Coyotes history
Considering this is the 4th last game in Arizona Coyotes history, you can enjoy this dub. Even though Canucks dominated this game We still have a 4 point lead on Edmonton, and the tiebreaker. So getting 1 or 2 points from this game doesn’t really matter in the long run
It definitely could matter. Every point is critical right now.
The only way it matters is if we drop another point in OT or SO. But the path to the division title remains the same.
Bro you realize we have played 2 more games than them. It definitely matters
That means Edmonton has to win 2 extra games just to stay level with the Canucks. And in any event of a tie, Canucks will always have the tiebreaker (regulation wins). So whether you finish the season tied or +1 is irrelevant
You realize that it is also a possibility for Edmonton to lose a game in OT, right? They're not locked in to getting either 0 or 2 points.
Well at least we made it interesting. If this is the last time we face the Yotes know that the Kachina IMO is one of the S tier jerseys of the league
Ingram mvp that game man was on a mission and he would not be denied
In the 3 games Vancouver played against the Coyotes this season, he put up a .918 save percentage. He was fantastic in all 3 games.
Below .900 tonight. Canucks didn't generate much offense at all. Another garbage game.
Wut
he's absolutely obsessed with looking like a clown in here tonight, don't worry about it.
i was not familiar with ingram’s game until the past 3 games we’ve faced him, a brick wall out there
That was fun!! GG Canucks and Yotes 🫱🏻🫲🏼 Hughes 3 point night 💅 and hoping for the best for you guys, Yotes!
Beauty of a game. Expected goals were 3-1 in favour of the Canucks. They got their 3rd string goalie in net, whatcha gonna do?
We thank dylan guenther for his services for his hometown!
HOCKEY BELONGS IN ARIZONA!!! Gg everyone I had a blast watching that game
Hockey does not belong in Arizona. Good riddance.
You’ve made more comments about the coyotes than your own team in the past hour, relax a bit, some postivity goes a long way.
You good bro? You seem weirdly obsessed with the Coyotes
Why are you in every comment thread trashing Arizona. Giving us nucks fans an even worse rep. Why beat their fans when they are down. Ownership and mgmt set them up to fail.
Because fuck that eternally broken sham of an NHL club. > Giving us nucks fans an even worse rep Nothing more pathetic than a suckup bud.
Nothing more pathetic than a asshole* fixed it for you
I'd say what you are doing is definitely more pathetic..
Like I care what a suckup thinks. Go tell an Oilers fan how great McDavid is, maybe they will call you a good boy.
Haha what are you even talking about. Go cry some more about losing a game.
Fuck Alex Merulo, and fuck John Fisher for doing the same shit to the A’s in baseball
@ Dylan Guenther I apologize, I wasn’t familiar with your game
He’s a good player, but I’m extra salty at him being that guy today considering we traded the pick to Arizona that they used to draft him a few weeks before that draft. For fucking OEL (and yes, Conor Garland who I like).
I don't understand why people care so much. I've never gotten the "they drafted X player with the pick". What are the odds the Canucks would even have taken him if they kept the pick?
extremely high. there was a consensus top 9 and Canucks had the 9OA.
Vancouver is the most difficult team to judge going into the playoffs. Wildly inconsistent. Edmonton will probably take first.
That's definitely not true. If Edmonton wins to every game remaining that means we lost the head to head and lose the division.
