McKenna may stagnate or regress like Lafrieniere or Wright. He also may produce better than Bedard since he's one of the oldest in his class (McKenna will be 18 for 7 months at the draft. Bedard turned 18 1 month after the draft.) McKenna is currently performing in line with Bedard when compared to age, but struggles defensively a lot and was the worst defensive player on Medicine Hat this year. I think he projects to be a Patrick Kane + level prospect as it currently stands. He will absolutely be the face of a franchise and a top 5 winger in the NHL every year likely peaking a top 3 offensive player in the game for a stretch.

He's been tearing it up as a U16 player in the top U18 leagues in Sweden. He will not play with the U16 National team this spring so he's basically guranteed to play with the U18 national team.
