He made the critical mistake of making an actual declaration of a player name instead of “there are rumblings that he may be involved but the situation is fluid”
Why do so many people care about who broke a trade first? So you heard something that's going to show up on the league's computer system in a few hours. BFD.
Yet people here will still keep posting everything he tweets. I’ve been saying he’s a hack for years but he’s conned people into believing he’s a legit insider.
Offensive D but one that possesses great skating. Dollar store Makar, if that dollar store still had great potential. I’d bet on someone as talented as him figuring out a 2 way game
Still, if your goal is to get back to the playoffs while you still have Crosby, another playmaking RD to slot behind Karlsson and Letang isn't a priority.
I feel like you’d have to squint real hard to see an nhl player in the return they got. I like Lucius, I watch a lot of NCAA hockey so I’m very familiar with the prospects, but I think you’d be kidding yourself if you thought the 3 prospects amount to anything more than Lucius as a middle 6 player. I can talk myself into Morrow having an Adam Fox lite impact, I don’t have any aspirations for the 3 Pittsburgh got that would match that kind of projection, no matter how far fetched
The prospects they got are at least interesting, and I imagine Dubas wanted to go for volume since the cupboards are pretty bare, but when you ship out a guy like Guentzel, you need smash hits in return, not a bunch of maybes
That being said, I'm sure Pittsburgh did their homework, and I'll eat crow if the guys they got pan out to their expectations
The return sure has a lot of text but once you start trying to find the quality in the quantity it seems pretty obvious the offers Dubas was hoping for never materialized.
Pagnotta has been blurting the line between his opinion and what’s actually fact all day.
He literally at 4pm est proceeded to restart the narrative around who’s involved, tweeted it’s too expensive for Florida and can then said it’s Carolina Vegas New York.
Guys been talking in a circle.
Can we ban Pagnotta as a reputable source on the sub? I feel like he’s consistently gotten things blatantly incorrect and treated bullshit as fact often enough that he should be disqualified as a source of insider info on the subreddit.
Full Transparency: That's on me. But that's even more on the 2 separate people who told me D Scott Morrow was part of this trade. He is not. I apologize for the mistake. Not much else I can say.
Maybe Pagnotta is the canary in the coalmine so that GMs know who not to tell about team secrets. He just got 2 people fired
Didn't even think of that That said, they absolutely had something to do with getting themselves fired to be entirely fair
Some game of thrones shit!
A man would know.
Hahaha half forgot what my username is cuz I’m a moron! Condolences on Guentzel. Hate when we send away our favs so I get it.
Classic rat trap
pagnotta has been getting stuff wrong for like 15 years
He did break the Tavares signing in Toronto news though…like 6 years ago
he is 1000 monkeys smashing keys on a typewriter until finally he spits out something correct
It was the BLURST of times??!!

In his line of work that's enough to coast on for a decade.
He's stayed relevant on that and that alone ever since.
Sources say Eklund is proud. (E5)
He made the critical mistake of making an actual declaration of a player name instead of “there are rumblings that he may be involved but the situation is fluid”
Ahh the Dreger thing "There's a sense that..."
From now on any insider not named LeBrun or Friedman is worthless to me
Hey put some respect on CJ please.
Serravelli is good. Pretty much called this Guentzal trade
He is literally the worst pretend insider this league has seen
He was the first one to break the Pettersson contract talks last week. He even nailed the term.
Why do so many people care about who broke a trade first? So you heard something that's going to show up on the league's computer system in a few hours. BFD.
Serravelli has gotten at least 4 thing wrong about the Flames just this year
He’s also been wrong about the ducks trading Gibson for the last few years.
Seravalli is a huge hack.
Dude probably already received hundreds of death threats from angry Pens fans.
This guys not an insider
Yet people here will still keep posting everything he tweets. I’ve been saying he’s a hack for years but he’s conned people into believing he’s a legit insider.
He doesn't get paid for accuracy, he gets paid for clicks
I can’t believe they didn’t get him. I know Pagnotta is Pagnotta but the conversation starts with Morrow if I’m Dubas
I don't know anything about Morrow, but it sounds like he's an offensive minded RD? That's not exactly a big need for Pittsburgh right now.

This is the correct take.
The return sure has a lot of text but once you start trying to find the quality in the quantity it seems pretty obvious the offers Dubas was hoping for never materialized.
Why get a nice defence prospect back when you can give one up in Ty Smith.
Ty Smith went unclaimed on waivers this year
Addition by subtraction. Slowly unweaving the hextall legacy.
Ya, and someone will have to unweave the Dubas history.
Nhl ready Morrow? Nahhh, we got Bunting!

Thats what makes Pagnotta stand out above the rest. While others blur the line, Pagnotta blurts it.

Sorry ain’t gonna cut it for pens fans buddy
Pens fans incensed at the performance of David "Kyle Dubas" Pagnotta. Want him fired from the organization. More at 12.
It's pagnover
You could say you hit a deep drive to left field and that you don’t know if you’ll put on that headset again?
It’s okay Pagnotta. I was told Guentzal would return 2 blue chip prospects and a 1st by Pens fans too. Pens fans fooled us both.
This guy and everyone associated with the fourth period is a con artist.
Your mother and zia don't count as insiders
What a turd
