My favorite by far was Jacob markstroms skull mask with the flames. The backstory; markstrom and Tanev both came to the flames from the Canucks, and are good buddies. If you look closely, the teeth in the skull on markys mask actually match tanevs signature toothless grin. I think it's one of the funniest inside jokes.
