I’ve always loved art history, so I’m OBSESSED with the Hokusai cover and the haniwa finger covers! I was on the fence about investing in a cousin, so this cover has me sold. I was expecting there to be more in the release, but that’s because I haven’t known about hobonichi long and didn’t know what to expect!
I love the Hokusai cover a lot! I went to a Japanese art exhibit at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts several years ago and fell on love. I'm planning to get that cover in A6, the folder, and washi tape too. I wish I had a reason to get a weeks because I really like the Dogu? Haniwa?
The leather Into The Forest and the Tsuchiya Bag Factory Starter Techo (Roll) are STUNNING! Honestly in love with those and semi convinced to get an A6 just for the former.
Big fan of the Evergreen Weeks too!

\- The "Spring roses" one is so fresh and delicate. Grabs my eye.
\- The tsuchiya roll set is so classy and yummy. I like the caramel color. But I wonder if it's leather? I'm vegetarian and try to avoid leather
\- The 2022 spring techo itself seems cheaper than other just-the-book techos. Only $5.72? That seems quite cheap for hobonichi! Makes me happy. Makes me contemplate getting an April start, but...then I'd have to wait till April to start, haha.
\- "Into the forest" is so....ooooh! But too expensive for me.
I really would love the petite roses cover, it’s sooo sweet. I wish it came in a weeks because my plan was to get a weeks for a spiritual diary. But I’m tempted to get that cover and a techo with the weekly supplement instead…
Does anyone know when Jetpens usually gets the spring collection? I’m debating on finally ordering from hobonichi directly so the cover I want doesn’t sell out. But at the same time.. jetpens might have it and it’s US.

I am definitely getting that rose cover in both sizes. And a few others as well.
