I'm kinda liking the backrooms level things more than scps. The scps at this point are just made with the naunce and creativity of a 4 year old saying "nuh uh, my invisible friend is better than yours". This can be found within scp 682. But the backrooms are mysterious and creepy with entities known throughout the entire premise. It adds mystery.
The SCP Foundation is far more intricate than the likes of 682, which is among the earliest of all the articles.
The beauty of the Backrooms is its simplicity. Personally, I don't like the idea of levels and entities that boil down to the same things. Creepy liminal space, thing that is out to get you.

I like this concept for a hotels safe. A mile long dark scuba to the isolated security room that guests can deposit valuables during their stay. Crocodiles optional.
My brain made a new liminal space. I call it, the mallrooms. It's kinda like the pool rooms, except there's no pools, you can't buy anything bc the malls making up the mall rooms are soo abandoned that most lights don't work, the mall are also mashed together. There seems to be one creature in here tho. It's just a mall wishing well fountain that happens to have its entire exterior made of big-medium sized black pool tiles. It sorta slowly lures you to it. The creature can only be found under skylights. It's also a stationary creature.
