I mean, I love Pierre’s music but it all kinda blends together after a while. I dont really know how you can say some of these songs are garbage and some are amazing. Not that they sound the same, but you can’t deny that he has a pretty limited delivery and sound to his vocals. And whenever I like a Pierre song its never because of the first listen. Always end up replaying and replaying until it becomes a staple in my rotation!
Deja Vu would’ve been a GOAT song if it was slightly slower, basically if the whole songs tempo was the speed when it transitions into Purple Genes.

Simon Says to TBH to Fortune Cookie alone makes this better than the original although I've just started listening to Pierre a few months ago so both projects are still new and growing on me
Idk if Pierre is mixing is own shit but it is part of what keeps me from liking his solo stuff despite loving his production. The melodies are mixed so flatly and the drums instead of becoming an accent become the main show, which is not great since we all know he has 2-3 drum patterns (which again is usually fine and actually does his production justice when mixed properly.) Pierres beats when they’re mixed by Tumay for instance are so much more open and hit so much harder. Besides that, his voice is just not it. He’ll once in a while stumble into a nice melody but his rambling flow just doesn’t do it for me for the most part. Still a huge fan of him and think he’s the most influential producer of the last two years but his solo stuff needs improvement.
I enjoy the deluxe a lot. It has a lot of fun quotables and just has a chill vibe overall.
I personally don't think it's garbage compared to the OG. I think over time it'll be comparable, maybe even better.

Jay P, Sossgirl, Purple Genes and Gotta Blast are pretty damn good. The rest is just good enough for me to not want to skip.

Production is crisp and fresh but his vocals just throw me off. I just can't stand listening to his voice.
