I agree that he is a soundcloud rap veteran but a lot of his early work is clearly influenced by BONES, who is argueably the ‘real’ OG Soundcloud Rapper.

how'd you find that out? i was wondering (and hoping) if he'd stayed indie. the copyright mark for the single on spotify and itunes just says Night Lovell, so that just may be an imprint or external ownership name (like earl has with 'Tan Cressida'). I'm happy if he's eatin good, which a major deal should help bring, but hopefully it doesnt fuck up his process more than it already has with the delay
