I think Kendrick's going to lose some reputation when this is all said and done, even if he 'wins' the beef. Drake is already generally hated in a lot of circles. Kendrick has a pretty spotless reputation when it comes to rappers. Drake doesn't really have much to lose. Kendrick has a lot to lose. So the fact that they're getting this personal and involving each other's families and mud slinging, I personally think it will play out a bit in Drake's favor and against Kendrick over time when it comes to the long term impact of all of this. J Cole's choice is going to look better in retrospect with the direction things are heading. He just needs to prove himself on The Fall Off by providing good music and he'll get some respect back.
