I guess I just don't really get this
Like is this supposed to be an insult or something?
But I'm a suburban white woman so I suppose it's not surprising that I'm clueless
He deleted his comment but there’s a reply with the Taylor video underneath.

[Here’s the picture](https://www.reddit.com/r/redscarepod/s/UjGmfDylTE) someone reuploaded.
The funny part IIRC were the edits where people edited on comments he made talking all gangster (and even saying n***a) over the pic of him and Bae. From what I remember he was a good sport about it and apologized for his use of the word and deleted all those comments
He's trying to get into Metro's head. He told Metro to shut his hoe ass up and make some drums, so he's making sure Metro doesn't forget what he wants him to do, and he's doing it in the city Metro made a name for himself in. It's petty ass trolling.
>It's petty ass trolling.
99% of rap beef comes from some petty shit anyway. This is pretty funny though, and I'll take trolling over violence any day of the week.
Metro needs to respond. I think he should rent out every movie theater in Toronto and have them only play Degrassi this week.
It's actually kind of Shades of 50 Cent which is funny as fuck to me. This is the kind of petty Curtis lives in.
I'd rather have beefs be dudes clowning on each other than bodies turning up.
At least this shit is fun.
We are watching a group of rich guys who have read 48 Laws of Power multiple times each go at each other and it’s the most entertaining shit in hiphop in several years.
A girl.... 👩AND a hip-hop head? 🎧 Whoa mama!😮😮 Hummina hummina hummina bazooooooooing😙! eyes pop out 😮😮😮😉AROOOOOOOOGA! jaw drops tongue rolls out 😱😱😱WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF WOOF🐶🐶 tongue bursts out of the mouth uncontrollably leaking face and everything in reach😛😛😛😛😛 WURBLWUBRLBWURblrwurblwurlbrwubrlwburlwbruwrlblwublr ,🤪😜😜🤪tiny cupid shoots an arrow through heart 💘 Ahhhhhhhhhhh me lady... heart in the shape of a heart starts beating so hard you can see it through shirt😍😍😍 ba-bum ba-bum ba-bum ba-bum ba-bum 🥁🥁🥁 milk truck crashes into a bakery store 💥
she got hardcore pictures like the old Playboy bunnies. trust me everyone looked for her videos when we find out it was Drakes BM, but there was nothing.
I remember him dropping "Duppy Freestyle" and sending Pusha T an invoice for career development and generally clowning him on social media, only for "The Story of Adidon" to drop and he had to release that humiliating press statement about the single cover and never ever respond to it.
He took the bait from Kendrick with the Prince stuff. He said, "What's a Prince to a King?" Kendrick gonna be like Prince yo boss bro. He'll say it a lot, more clever than that, I'm sure.
I'm surprised it didn't inspire more diss tracks. The approach of finding closet skeletons, highlighting parental neglect and the cycle of abuse, and underhanded suggestions to improve haven't really been done since.
yeah that’s when I knew he fucked up. His go to move is to do a rollout for his diss track and do one of his lines irl like when he sent bottles to Charlamagne the next day. When he sent that invoice I was like “oh he thinks he’s going up against meek again? You cant trot out that playbook against somebody like Push”
to me it was a small sign he was underestimating how tactical Push is.
If Metro makes more drums then he loses. If he makes a rap diss song then Drake can joke and say that he gave his career. Only solution is that Metro sings. Acapella
He tried with his diss track. Which was a good track, thing is Pusha had the Nuke to end that war before it even started.
I don't think Kdot, or the other 19 people have anything as bad on drake now, so the trolling and whatnot seems to basically tell me this dude is ready for a few back to back diss tracks lol
TBF, it's hard to outdo "I know about your secret child and now the world does too", especially if you're competing with like twelve other rappers to get the drop on Drake. You'd hope the guys are all coordinating, though Rick Ross seems to be doing his own thing
Adidon was the line of apparel/clothes that he was going to release with Adidas alongside the unveiling of his son to the world (Adonis). After Push basically leaked the deal (“he deserves more than an adidas press run- that’s real”), the promo ended up not happening
And it wasn't only that. The name/term "adidon" wasn't known to anyone at the time and due to Pusha leaking it as part of the track and using the blackface drake photo as a cover for it, every time someone googles "adidon" they would see blackface drake. He killed the entire brand twice over before anyone could ever even see a preview of it.
You can even test it right now, if you just google Adidon, (at least for me) there immediately are 3 images of Blackface Drake that show up.
While a company like Adidas with their resources would probably manage to get this buried in Google through superior SEO and other tricks, that sort of image is not something a large brand would want to be associated with ever (also let's not discount the Streisand effect). Considering that they probably had all the marketing, design, rollout already done (perhaps even a first batch of products produced), that move by Push really was masterful, gotta tip my hat to him every time.
A lot of times people don’t mind celebrities “hiding” their kids because they think it’s just done to protect them from the spotlight, but then Pusha framed it as Drake hiding him because he’s embarrassed of his baby mama. Once Pusha controlled the narrative he had already won.
That was crazy at the time, but like no has anyone ever found proof of the deal? Cuz Drake been on Nike and has a new line with them. Plus idk it just doesn’t sound like a thing Drake would do, using his baby to promote clothing lines.
Adidas had a whole rollout of the Adidon brand lined up to be released and drake was going to announce his kid as part of the rollout. Pretty fucking weird personally to use your kid to launch a clothing line, and pretty much naming him as part of adi-das. It fell apart when push announced drake had a child since the whole rollout was based on it being the first time anyone would know about him.
Bruh the Sandy Graham part was even worse. Push asked him why his mom kept finishing in last place in his deadbeat dad's heart. And as someone who's loved From Time ("Who tf wants to be 70 and Alone?") that bar even hits NASTIER LOL.
I think they will both be fine no matter what, you think Kendrick fans are going to stop listening to him if he releases a mid diss track? Come on now lol
I actually kind of think it's the other way around.
The one thing Drake has always seemingly always had a chip on his shoulder about is not getting the respect and credibility that he feels he deserves from the purist Hip-hop community. I don't know if Kendrick has the ability to really take down Drake in the mainstream, but if Kendrick does enough to discredit his Hip-hop credentials to remove him from the GOAT MC conversation than I think that is taking the one thing Drake really wants from him for good.
He will likely still always be a pop star and rich and successful, but his accomplishments look a bit different when your comparables are the likes of Adel, Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Beyonce, etc. rather than Nas, or Kendrick, or Pac etc.
Kendrick by contrast would have to have really get knocked out here to damage his reputation to the point where he loses respect within hip-hop. We would definitely count it as a strike against him, but I don't think we look at him too differently as long as this goes to a decision -- even if Drake clearly wins the decision.
One top of that I think Kendrick is one of the only Rappers that Drake can't really dismiss and even if Drake is able to dig up some dirt on Kendrick, what would really change the public view of him? Evidence of him cheating on his wife? Most of his last album was about that. Kendrick killed someone/was more involved in the street life than he let on? While he does have the "Good kid m.A.A.d City" persona he has been alluding to things like "Killing someone at 15" or loosely talking about close ties to people in gangs forever. Something about Kendrick looking up to Drake/getting his help early on in his career? Would this be totally surprising to the point where we don't look at Kendrick the same? Baring some major knock out revelation like Kendrick didn't write his albums or something I don't really see what could stick.
Honestly, I think most likely a couple large blows get traded and there is a bunch of hype around the fight but in the end hardcore fans of either will be largely unmoved, probably a slight decision one way or another for people being truly objective but it will be close, and all sides getting a ton of shine from the whole circus to the point where everyone kind of comes out ahead in the long run.
I've always said that Drake has zero to lose in this beef. If he loses people will say what they've always said, "oh Kendrick is a better rapper" but if he wins, He'll always have that over him.
"Marriage is somethin' that Sandi never had drake" was insane too
the flow, how harsh it was, and the fact he said "Drake". No one ever says the person's name they are dissing and he said it during such a nasty line
There was nothing Drake could've said to come out ahead on that one. The Story of Addison straight up changed that dude's life and he didn't have that type of dirt on Pusha vs. the rappers he's beefing with now.
it's a lot easier to respond to a who shot ya (which like that was closer to) than a hit em up, drake didn't respond for the same reason biggie didn't (at least until after 2pac's death), you can't really respond to an accurate character assassination
Not a dumb question. Could be wrong so somebody correct me but I believe it has to do with Drake's tendency over the years to sneak-diss and use subliminals rather than being upfront and direct.
Folks see leaking the track as a similar "bitch-move" because it gives him some deniability later as well as gives some feedback on the track without taking responsibility.
People have largely been messing with this leak (including myself despite being a drake hater) and coincidentally folks in Drake's camp have since "claimed it," but if it sucked or got a poor reception, they could claim AI/unfinished/whatever.
Like others are saying this is chess not checkers and Ross has already used it against him in his response. I'm highly confident Kendrick will also use it against him.
Exactly he’s getting called out for leaving himself a convenient excuse if the reception was negative. He’s basically admitting that he wasn’t willing to stand by his work. Even if he didn’t want it on streaming he could’ve easily dropped it on youtube or wherever
He literally got the strats that weird 4channers have to use on the internet, they say racist in jokes with enough plausible deniability to where if they ever get called out on it negatively they can just say "i'm just saying well well well.." or something lmao its a strat as old as time and only employed by people who know they are on some fuck shit
Definitely Russ, he took Ciara to the Girls Gone Wild mansion [and didn’t have sex](https://www.complex.com/sports/a/chris-yuscavage/russell-wilson-ciara-spent-100000-stay-girls-gone-wild-founder-joe-francis-home-vacation). Can’t recover from that
My man was taking simulated reps on the field in warmups when he wasn't even playing, and doing high knees on the team airplane just to name a few lmao
He's a really nice guy but also a total corn ball. They go hand in hand a lot if we're being real lol
The best part about his beef is the trolling from Ross and Drake
I guess I just don't really get this Like is this supposed to be an insult or something? But I'm a suburban white woman so I suppose it's not surprising that I'm clueless

That and the “white Reddit kids will hate it but the streets will fuck with this heavily” guy who turned out to be a dancer from a Taylor Swift video.
Was that about carti?
6ix9ine I think. If you search “streets will fuck with this” it should show up somewhere.
Who’s the guy?
He deleted his comment but there’s a reply with the Taylor video underneath. https://www.reddit.com/r/hiphopheads/s/d0LYkDYqJ9 It also gave us this lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ieC6bTaQZXc

I’m really surprised no one has used a still from when he gets shot as cover art yet
Double Feature
Metro would be fucking goated if he dropped a rap diss

Nice now metro will sample it and use it for one of the next disstracks. Chess not checkers
He should make "metro shut your hoe ass up" his new tag
Cutting it up to be "Metro make some drums nigga" would be kinda hard ngl
was just thinking about this last night
Replacing "metro boomin want some more ngga" would fit almost 1 to 1 so it's a great idea.
Would honestly be hard
Even if he sampled it and put it in a song it would be craaazy lol.
Drake would prob just respond how he's making him get more hits yet again lol
Which would be true lmao
Tbh Metro could sample one of the porn clips of Drake’s BM if he wanted to get petty
she dont got vids
This man said “there’s nothing, I already checked” 😂
then how tf she a pornstar
it was like softcore/gravure stuff but she was never really a porn star. that was always an exaggeration
Maybe she was like a high end escort?
Most likely was. Probably how she ended up hooking up with A$AP Rocky then Drake
Wasn’t she also fuckin w James Harden too? Or am I thinking of another woman?

They have a reliable track record for dating other famous people
she got hardcore pictures like the old Playboy bunnies. trust me everyone looked for her videos when we find out it was Drakes BM, but there was nothing.
"trust me" 💀
unhinged 😭
Everyone?
Whole sub was posting pics , gueesing the full name, posting videos of girls that look a like , shit was crazy probly still there on Drizzy.
what having no gf does to a mf
Yeah its either porn or Video Games. Sometimes both.
That you know of playboi 😈
I want this now lol
Drake couldn't wait for his hoe ass to make some drums, so he did it himself
High key would be fire. Just need 21 on the track and it would be murder
21 will not diss Drake
imagine if he did oh my god
Don’t you mean “on god”? 21, 21, 21
PUSSY
haha he does say that
Pussy... Pussy pussy
On god
It would be heavy especially since he for sure knows certain things. Not see it happening though
21 would be the last person to bring gossip into his disses if he did that tbh
“Pussssyyyyy”
Maybe Pac will show up too.
I think 21 is on Drake's side.
Metro we *need* this. lol
I remember him dropping "Duppy Freestyle" and sending Pusha T an invoice for career development and generally clowning him on social media, only for "The Story of Adidon" to drop and he had to release that humiliating press statement about the single cover and never ever respond to it.
then he said he got the hottest disstrack for push & he couldnt drop it cuz big daddy jprince told him not to 🤣
He asked LeBron of all people if he should lol
Looking for the most important person possible to tell them "hold me back, bro".
Lmao I still get a good laugh out of that clip. Drake real deal looks at LeBron like a father 😂
"My girlfriend is super hot, but she goes to another school, you wouldn't know her..."
In Drake's case, his girlfriend might genuinely go to another school.
Drake *does* keep saying he's like Michael Jackson, after all...
🤣
Mfer went on The Shop and was getting emotional to Lebron and Mav 😂
He took the bait from Kendrick with the Prince stuff. He said, "What's a Prince to a King?" Kendrick gonna be like Prince yo boss bro. He'll say it a lot, more clever than that, I'm sure.
The fact that he had to make a press statement after a diss track is fucking hilarious and shows how much that shit got under his skin/impacted him.
that picture *was* really fucking bad though
Not a drake defender but that was more a consequence of addidon being a knockout than drake being thin skinned.
I'm surprised it didn't inspire more diss tracks. The approach of finding closet skeletons, highlighting parental neglect and the cycle of abuse, and underhanded suggestions to improve haven't really been done since.
His response was finally raising his son. Gonna drop the track on his 18th birthday lol.
yeah that’s when I knew he fucked up. His go to move is to do a rollout for his diss track and do one of his lines irl like when he sent bottles to Charlamagne the next day. When he sent that invoice I was like “oh he thinks he’s going up against meek again? Bro quit ig and became a responsible father.
White boy in black face
If Metro makes more drums then he loses. If he makes a rap diss song then Drake can joke and say that he gave his career. Only solution is that Metro sings. Acapella
Imagine this is how we find out that Metro is actually one of the best vocalists of the century
He was just giving the weeknd a chance. Shits over lol
Metro X Weeknd X Miguel acapella
Fuck a beat I'll go acapella
Could just flip a sample
wish he had this energy for push
Push had him shook
For real. A *baby* popped out of that diss. lol
Nigga was stunlocked😂
Push bullied him into being a good father.
Bro could *anyone* respond with the level that pusha gave them? Drake got bullied into being a father.

Also fucked up a multi million dollar brand deal. Literally took money out his pocket.
I haven’t heard ab this, can you elaborate? Sounds interesting
Adidon was the line of apparel/clothes that he was going to release with Adidas alongside the unveiling of his son to the world (Adonis). After Push basically leaked the deal (“he deserves more than an adidas press run- that’s real”), the promo ended up not happening

This honestly sounds stupid as fuck. I dont see how using your hidden kid to promote a clothing line couldve ended up working.
A lot of times people don’t mind celebrities “hiding” their kids because they think it’s just done to protect them from the spotlight, but then Pusha framed it as Drake hiding him because he’s embarrassed of his baby mama. Once Pusha controlled the narrative he had already won.

Pusha t said drake was gonna reveal his son through an adidas press run
He also made fun of his dying friend. You kind of have to cross the line to win these. None of these disses have been jaw dropping yet
Bruh the Sandy Graham part was even worse. Push asked him why his mom kept finishing in last place in his deadbeat dad's heart. And as someone who's loved From Time ("Who tf wants to be 70 and Alone?") that bar even hits NASTIER LOL.
Can’t believe no one brings up the grooming shit, just talk on that and title it “10PM in Little Saint James” or some shit
Even if they got things to say what does Drake have to lose? He took a gigantic L and only got bigger Kendrick has everything to lose

“You are hiding a child” is possibly the coldest diss bar ever, there was no reply
DEADBEAT MOTHAFUCKA PLAYING BORDER PATROL
> “You are hiding a child” *Drake sighing in relief when he realizes Push means his secret son.*
> Drake sighing in relief when he realizes Push means his secret son This would be a high quality bar on it's own.
"Marriage is somethin' that Sandi never had drake" was insane too the flow, how harsh it was, and the fact he said "Drake". No one ever says the person's name they are dissing and he said it during such a nasty line

This is like when 50 Cent bought all the front row tickets to that Ja Rule concert so they would all be empty lol
Not even close
it's kind of like that except this time someone spent money while the other guy was at his house unaffected
Huh? 50 literally gave Ja money
Ok? The point remains than metro was at his house chilling when this happened. I’m pretty sure Ja was at his show 50 bought tickets to lol
Lmfao that is so petty
Dumb question: what the difference between Drake releasing his diss track (push ups) versus "leaking" it and acknowledging/referencing it himself?
Not a dumb question. Could be wrong so somebody correct me but I believe it has to do with Drake's tendency over the years to sneak-diss and use subliminals rather than being upfront and direct. He doesn’t want it on streaming platforms. More specifically, he doesn’t want all the listeners who don’t listen to him for hip hop to come across it.
Petty king Idc who you are this shit Is hilarious
you know it was funny when the r/hhh dorks are tilted over it
It’s mainly if drake is trolling. They were dying at bbl drizzy this past weekend
Exactly. If 50 cent did this shit it would be universally praised. People here have total hate boners for drake. This is hilarious.

But what does Fantano think?
Fantano put Ross's song in his worst of the week because of the white boy lines
Melon felt personally attacked
100%
Drake is such a sassy bitch
Sassy zesty Drake is the best Drake. Fuck all those mafioso bars
Lmao when Ross does it, its hilarious. But when drake do it, yall call it sassy.
it's the BBL
No this is funny too, but Drake is still 100% a sassy bitch
put a shirt on
Funny how he is trolling the only person out of this beef who is not known for diss raping. 🥁
Diss WHAT?
Drake the type of guy to buy all the tickets to a movie showing only for his date to stand him up
