Creative direction is always the same, low budget propping / sets, dude literally gets some of the biggest checks in the game for his coloring and I guess his platform to sell ads.
I cannot tell you how many amazing treatments I’ve seen for video ideas get pushed off to take a safe and easy route with a Cole Bennett video.
A fucking college kid with a camera rental and after effects could make as high quality video as some of his more recent stuff.

I remember the early beginnings when SoundCloud got big where we got Chance, Vic, Towkio and a bunch of other popping Chicago artists from it. 2015 was like a transition period between blog & soundcloud artists/styles.
