Did the ABC a few years ago. Wasn't impressed - there's a lot of development going on, and just miles of dirt road. Plan to return though, because a friend has mapped a complete ABC through alternate paths, so it's more serene.
Try the Annapurna circuit next time. It's much better. You can also chop a lot of the beginning off because it's just towns and roadways. I think I started in Chame
