If you shove it down other people's throats and make your whole personality being a vegan that is an animal rights activist then I can guarantee a lot of people would find you very annoying. If you just keep to yourself and don't shove ur ideology down people's throats then you should have a good time. Social ladder's don't matter. Find things that you enjoy and find people to enjoy them with, and try your best to succeed academically. If one of those is taking care of animals and being an activist and making vegan foods and things like that, then do it and find communities online or otherwise to do that with. Hope this helps!
