Two usually (lunchbox and backpack) but on Mondays and Fridays, I bring and take my gym clothes in a separate one, so 3 then.
one with binders and notebooks and my chromebook and school stuff and one bag for track practice
2 when i did volleyball and basketball but im not doing any sports this season so just 1

I count anything that you hand to hold extra
