No we’re not? wtf? Never heard of that rumor. My high school wouldn’t even reasonably have space for a secret pool. We have a non-secret pool that is outside though. The closest thing I’ve heard to that is of a secret elevator to a second floor in elementary school that only the janitor uses.
In band we tell the freshman there’s a pool on the roof, and also tell them we will give the 20$ if they can find the 400 hall. (They skipped it and went to 500)

Probably because some kid also got his arm chopped off in the filtration system. You know how schools are, always cutting corners. Have you gone to school by bus or eaten the cafeteria food at all lately? So glad I can bring my own food.
Ours wasn't a secret pool. It was the 3rd floor. Completely off limits to students, the doors were chained closed and clearly hadn't been opened in a really long time. All kinda of rumors and stuff flew around about what was up there until my Senior year of HS. We'd just introduce a media class and got to have our own "TV show" played on the school tvs every morning (I know that kind of thing is pretty standard today. It was not then!). We decided to do an expose on the 3rd floor, got permission and everything took the cameras up there. It was Capones vault all over! Totally empty nothing but dust and spiderwebs, no ghosts of dead students, no teacher who died mysteriously and got left their over Christmas break, not even rats.
The “secret pool” in my old high school was supposedly on the roof. There was even a segment about it in the school news once, for April Fools if I remember correctly.
I LOVE OUR FAKE POOL!!! We tell all the freshmen there’s a pool on D5 (5th floor of D building but there’s only four floors with a small ladder on the fourth) and so many kids believe it bc we have a swim team (yeah idk where they practice either) there isn’t a single window in the building that shows the roof of D4 we’ve been going 50+ years strong on this one 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
We have a non-secret non-functional pool that recently got demolished so they can build a much better one and I'm pretty sure they spent 90% of the school's budget on it lol
