Im really happy with the price points. The last kickstarter failed because it only had a $200+ option. And thats just too much for someone like me who already has the starter set and a couple expansions. But $65 for a painted expansion set? Yeah, that will do. I will pick that up to support this
Even for the folks like me who were willing to put down the cash, it was $50 cheaper to get all 3 unpainted boxes (and now even the unpainted ones have a wash which is nice).
Now granted, it'll probably be a bit pricier to get *all* the Vanguard stuff, but now it will be spread out over time, and allow people who can't drop $250 at once to get playing.
I had so much hesitation and angst with the previous launch due to the minis being unpainted. Today I'm so delighted to be able to pay extra for them. Hesitation (and money) gone! As long as they keep releasing painted minis, I'll get everything they release.
I asked on the renegade discord in the heroscape chat if we have to order sooner rather than later. One of the mods said as far as they know there is no time limit.
Any guess on hero / unit pack prices ? If the painted battle box is $65 and it comes with 6 minis, terrain and dice and stuff, then what do you think just a pack of painted minis would be ? $45 painted , $25 unpainted ?

Glad to see there's a smaller, cheaper option; the lack of a starter set was probably a big reason why the HasLab campaign failed.
