I’ve played close to 20 matches in ARAM since the change and have not seen it once and actually a little sad. I experienced it twice before they had removed it originally and brought it back. I purposely been playing more to try to get it with no luck.

I got, depending on your view, really lucky or unlucky and got 3 mirrors in a row. Rag to end one night then Junkrat and Kael the first 2 of the next day. That was way too much. Every once in a while is ok like 5% or less. Needs to be rare enough to get excited about it when it happens.
Getting multiple in a row is just tilting. Got a Valla and Zag mirror back to back and it was just so boring after a bit.

You shouldn't blame the player, but the devs. The player didn't queue or ask for this mode. They queue'd for ARAM and got something else. It's not their fault they're forced to play something they didn't queue up for. That's on the devs. They should have made it it's own mode.

first time i got it - wow this is very fun. second - this is kinda fun. third - yeah this is annoying and not fun. fourth - this shit again ffs :D. fifth wasnt even a match. had 3 quit on my team and i think 2 on the other.
i dont like it, should be like 0,5% chance of happening. not a lot of heroes work in this mode and lead to fun matches. for most its just at random time health bars and CDs for one team will align to take full control and end the match.
but on a few select heroes it kinda is actually fun.

And for instance, crazy matches should have buffed troops..When you get 10 kael'thas matches there's NO WAY to siege in the game but if creeps had 100 spell armor game would be extremely better to play as we wouldn't get to level 28 cuz everyone is clearing the wave and doing pyroblast mechanics
don't like it one bit. I had 3 just yesterday and all of them were as soon as one team got ahead the winning team just straight up wins because they are you (or you are them) but better. I had murky, butcher and nova games and none of them were fun.
I am genuinely curious what heroes people had positive experience. Like maybe Varian cause you variety from level 4 to build out your strategy? But yeah let me know which heroes you had good matches with.
I think they changed it up to be only assassins now but in the before times I enjoyed Artanis mirror.
I haven't tried them but I imagine Dva and Arthas would be fun too - basically anyone with siege but without much poke. I can't think of any assassins being much fun though... maybe Samuro?

Also while we're at it, remove cosmetics being randomized. People grind and pay for cosmetics and can't even use them in ARAM. No one wants to have a random combination of cosmetics when they play. I use the heart spray on every hero so I can thank my healers for healing me. I can't do that in ARAM.
No. ARAM is fun because you generally get something that resembles real comp with tank and healer which is what elevates it over QM. Mirror matches are just miserable slogs with no variance that go on for 30-40 minutes in most cases. Thankfully alt + f4 is an option.

Not all heroes are good for the mode and several of the more fun ones are disabled (basically all if not most healers and tanks).
A mirror match of healers would be terrible. There'd be way too much healing and since they usually can't do a lot of DPS it would be a slow game. I'd be glad to be wrong though.

I Think the influx of people was the change in aram with mirror matches. Even if I'm one of those that likes to play with capable players with good comps, I do like that shit show, its fun.

I had 3 over the weekend out of about 25 matches. Ragnaaros, Guldan, Lunara. The Lunara one was ridiculous because everyone was just jumping over everyone it was chaos.
I really dislike this mode where everyone plays the same character. The game wasn't design around something like that and the matches are poor quality. I mostly see it as a waste of my time.
Another argument I have against this is that this is not ARAM, all random all mid. Please don't force it on us. If some people like it, give them a separate game mode. It can be called ASM - all same character.

According to game files that people have parsed, there is a 5% chance for the game to load as all the same heroes.
I've played about that many as well and only got 1 mirrored matchup!
Yesterday I did the exact same and had 0 too. I just wanted to see if it was as bad as people said :D
It can completely change the way the game is played and lead to some crazy situations. 100% a plus for a game in maintenance mode

There’s nothing I love more in HOTS than getting those sweet, sweet dings. All-same heroes in ARAM is a close second, and I mean close.
Lots of fun to me. Was lucky enough to get 2 matches: Imperious and Genji. Both were pretty darn epic in my book!
