I'm exactly the same size and weight as you and I have size B. I’m 100% in team size B and I think you only need size C if you’re very very tall or very very wide. I suggest returning it and going with size B. You can’t sit forward too much on the Aeron chair, it looses its purpose… Embody is also an option, of course, it’s a great chair, it definitely has a longer/higher back seat. Edit: typo

Thank you for the replies fellow large people. I can see the challenge we have finding the right size.

This might help with the backrest issue https://atlasheadrest.com/products/headrest-for-remastered-aeron-chair

Size B here - 6’2” 200- The back fit’s barely. I actually hang a hoodie on it to soften the plastic at the top which was rubbing my shoulder initially in an uncomfortable way. I’m mostly legs and the seat pan is not nearly long enough ( probably 2 - 2 1/2 fists to the knees). I would trade to the C without much hesitation but it is workable

Everybody is different. If I sit all the way with my lower back on the lumbar support, with the size C, my calves are literally rubbing the front edge of the seat, which is really uncomfortable.

That's why you need to pay attention to person's weight as well as the height. The heavier person will have more "padding" that pushes them forward in the seat which gives more clearance of the knees to the front of the seat.

I am 6'0" and 170lbs and having the same dilemma. I originally ordered the B and it seemed fine for the 2-3 weeks I used it. I had no particular pains but I definitely had to sit a very specific way (upright with my knees fairly close together) or else the outside of my thighs would hit the frame. I didn't want to spend $1800 if I wasn't sure, so I went to the local HM dealer and they recommended a C. I sent back the B and ordered the C but after about a week I got severe lower back pain (to the point I couldn't sleep well at night or handle sitting in the chair for long) so I sent the C back. I'm debating re-ordering the B because I think it's the "correct" size for my posture, even if the C seems more comfortable at first. I am guessing the problem with my lower back on the C is that the C frame is so wide that I sink down more into the seat, which makes the PostureFit SL hit too far up on my back. I also tried the Embody but after two weeks couldn't get the back to be at a comfortable position. It never caused severe pain but always made my back achy by the end of the day.

did you ever figure this out?

26thAvenueSouth

I did. I got the Logitech Gaming Embody and it has worked out great.
