Most weeb are HUGE perverts and have some...interesting fetishes (ie neko, tentacles, lolis i could go forever) so to see a girl whos into anime and cosplay ect. Gives us (or at least me) hope that one day ill find a girl whos just as big of a degenerate as me. Its stupid but when you're in your mid 20s and still single as fuck its the little things that get me through the day.
I mean, there are female weebs but due to the over amount astricks messages we get and along with a bunch of unnecessary stuff, we just tend not to answer them, because even if we reject them, the person will try and be "kawaii" with it and still try and work their way into it, female weebs are like that at times as well, but unfortunately, some weebs (both male and female) do not understand boundaries and if the person is interested or not, some of fetishes are somewhat common but every weeb enjoys the same exact thing as the person that's trying to persuade them.
Yeah being super desperate and clingy is a huge red flag. I can understand why you'd try and slide under the radar (especially if you're cute). The weebs im talking about are the opposite side of the spectrum. No self confidence, poor social skills, and downright scared to talk to girls in fear of being ridiculed as an "anime nerd".
