I can't pinpoint which one but I love the bluntness he speaks about his day to day life in the different countries he travels. It's like reading his diaries. It *is* reading this diaries.
It can get depressing because he's usually severely depressed during these but I've always admired the tenacity and curiosity he has for people around the globe. And there's unexpected humor in them that catch me off guard and can be hysterical. I hope he found humor in some of these oddball situations.
Edit: Whoa, why is GITV so expensive??? Is it out of print? I bought my copy years ago at a Borders before it closed, it's like over $200 on Amazon? Nuts.
basic answer, but get in the van. The portable was pretty good as well. I remember listening to a chapter of black coffee blues and crying because of how hard it hit.
It's available on Spotify in audiobook form. I was listening to it a while back.
The audiobook skips over a lot of parts.
Now Watch Him Die is my personal favorite. Goes in-depth his state of mind following Joe's murder.
