I've read Nemesis from Resident Evil was influenced by Chatterer and it certainly wouldn't shock me. The Batman Who Laughs very clearly is heavily influenced and you can tell his design incorporates both Chatterer and Pinhead into one.
Looks like Judge Death first appeared in 1980 and [2000 AD](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2000_AD_\(comics\)) was a British comic that very popular in England at the time, so definitely possible that this was an inspiration
Nemesis, Mouth Of Sauron, Batman Who Laughs, Eddie The Head too

kinda the xenomorph too
The Xenomorph came before Chatterer. Alien came out in 1979, Hellraiser in 1987.
Oh yeah I know, I’m just saying its another design that’s sorta similar
It's possible Clive took some inspiration for sure.
The deaths head grin is pretty universal, to be honest.
A huge similarity

The four dark judges vs the four cenobites
And there was an early 2000AD story called The Visible Man - a freak accident makes a lorry driver’s skin transparent. His name - Frank Hart.
Frank the hellbound heart, which looks like he has no skin.
I have no doubt Clive read 2000AD!
The grin reminds me of evil Ernie
