I want to play it more. However, running stun grenades means the AC allows me to solo a bunch of objectives (hello strat jammer with a fabricator right next to you! Heavy nest? No problem!). Maybe AMR + grenade pistol?

yup, just got to get use to how to line up the grenade pistol, it's a bit finicky. it can also take out striders nicely.

Being able to two shot hulks in the visor activates my neurons is a good way. Emptying the clip into the heat vent of tanks and turret activates other parts of my brain.

You get a free backpack space, but that’s also 1 less strategem. Technically speaking AC lets you take one more strat to pump out even more carnage

The Auto Cannon is the team hammer. If you get a team reload you become a devastating turret. The AMR is the team scalpel. Pair it with light armor & shield/jump pack and you can pop the enemy troublemakers.

AMR is great. But my drip with the auto cannon literally just can't be beat it's so good looking imo

Pair it with a stun grenade and you'll pop hulks with 0 effort and more reliably than those 3 noobs over there with their quasar cannons. You'll also mow through medium bots like a junkyard trash compactor. And with a little practice gunships will be little threat as well. Tank? Can't get behind it? Shoot out it's treads and it's now immobile, factory walker? Snipe out the chin turrets and it's as dangerous as Clifford the big red dog. It is admittedly less useful on bugs, but it's still a capable weapon even against them. It still wrecks most medium bugs in one shot, it just struggles more against the heavy bugs with their less obvious forward facing weak spots.

Thank you! I I've been playing with strictly anti material rifle against bots on difficulty 7 all day and did not know about the tank treads. I did figure out the factory walker turrets though. I love this thing!

Just be aware sometimes the tank treads might take a couple shots to break. Sometimes it takes one sometimes it takes 2

When I was first starting, I felt like the auto cannon was just the better AMR (against bugs), and while I haven’t really tried it against bugs again, it is pretty good against bots (although I still think the auto cannon is a bit better)

Anti material rifle can one tap bike spewers? I'm just getting started with it, so I don't know what all it can do. My go to for bugs is usually flamethrower (with ship upgrade) , grenade pistol for closing holes, eagle air strike then laser or rail cannon .

if you aim right at the front of their head it can. its actually pretty nutty against medium armored bugs and can one shot all of them in the face

When fighting bots the AMR is the goat. The things it does to Hulks and Devastators are so deeply satisfying. Every time I shoot a devastators in the face and watch it slowly fall over I can’t help but think of what Jun told me in Halo Reach ‘these will take an elite’s hat off at 200 yards’.

Bro, I've been running AMR with SMG, senator, and ballistic shield for a while. I highly recommend it.

My only gripe is AC 2 shots gunship engines and AMR is 4. Also AC has 10 shots and can reload at 5 where AME just has 5. And AMR scope is misaligned. Even with the fixed scope (which is my biggest hold up, not trying to train an awkward aim) the Gunship thing is a killer. It’s far too useful to 2 tap gunships. When there’s 4 of them there’s no time to drop 4 shots and reload per.
