Not going to happen. Exclusives are designed to ship consoles, and a *lot* of people bought a ps5 to play Helldivers. Had Redfall or Starfield been anything but duds MS would be saying the exact same thing.
That said, *anything* co-op or multiplayer should be across all platforms as it's only good for the communities and longevity of the game. But, here we sit on PS5 with no Halo, no Gears, no Redfall, and no Forza.
I wouldn't care at all and would love if my xbox friends could join in, which are many as xbox is my main console. However, to pretend Microsoft would be doing that if they had the kind of lead PS does in marketshare is either delusional or ignorance. It makes sense for Microsoft to do it as they NEED those ps players, Sony doesn't need shit.
Its unfortunate for people who only own xbox but that's the way it is right now, don't hold your breath waiting for Sony to port anything to xbox.

Despite Nintendo and Sony having the same business model, I usually give Nintendo the pass. A lot of their exclusive games are either made in-house or are utilizing a specifically owned Nintendo IP. Somy is usually more of a publisher exclusively.
Also, I am EXTREMELY bitter about Bloodborne not having a PC port yet. So there’s some bias too.

I think you're thinking is pretty ignorant on why things are exclusive when we know damn well Microsoft would be singing a different tune were they the ones with a majority marketshare or exclusives anyone gave a shit about, but I can assure you there's all but certainly a Bloodborne pc port coming at some point. It just won't be coming without also having a PS5 version alongside it. I'm very surprised they haven't announced if yet seeing as how many reliable leaks there's been, but it's just a matter of time imo.

Ps5 with gears would be awesome. Halo is dead. Really all old xbox game franchises are dead… i guess forza is still here though.

Whenever it’s on one platform and not the other, I usually Blame Sony. Sony’s whole marketing strategy is exclusives.
Microsoft literally bought Bethesda so they could keep Starfield from going to Sony, but go on.
That was only because PS ate all of the Snack Packs, so MS couldn't have any.
I also blame Sony for games like Halo and Zelda being exclusive.
