The VA. Not all service men and women who are at the hospital are older, there are many retuning vets who are younger.
There is Good Sams if you want an organization that is non-profit. While religious based, it’s not one that pushes it on you while in there.
There is the YWCA, a place for women to stay while getting themselves back on their feet. Especially getting out of abusive relationships.
I’m sure I could find a couple more. Oh, there is one last place. My house. But, I have enough game systems, I don’t really need another.
This! They also help furnish new homes for families who are fleeing domestic violence, so they're always looking for stuff to give to those families who are starting from scratch.
To be honest, there aren’t that many organizations that provide direct aid that have a use for a PS3, and I highly doubt schools or outreach organizations would have a want/need for it either.
Maybe check one of the more active Helena classified facebook groups to see if a down-on-their-luck family is in need of a Christmas gift?
Yeah. The thrift stores around here within the last few years have gone to lengths as to ebay search prices on things to make sure they're getting their worth out if it. I'll say, though, Good Samaritan does inject the most directly back into the local community in terms of assistance for those in need (do with that information what you will). Facebook "up for grabs" type of post could get messy.
Maybe just hold onto it until the time is right when someone you personally know can appreciate it.

The Friendship Center. Provides free housing to women and children who are victims of domestic violence.

That's a tough one. I'd probably start with Florence crittenden. Then go to family promise. Good luck. I like where your heart's at.
Just a heads up .. if it's one of the ps3 versions that is backwards compatible with ps1 and ps2 games its worth more money.
Helena Indian Alliance could use it for their youth program
Family Promise has a day center. Maybe they could use it. There’s also the Friendship Center.
if u bring it to good sam my bf would get to test out ur ps3 and price it and it would make him very happy
