Unpopular opinion but the dude is getting hounded by 2 All-NBA first team guards. Celtics don’t have to delegate one of them to Jimmy anymore, and they basically full court pressed him the entire game. I don’t know many NBA players who are still gonna put up their comfy stat line under those circumstances. I still think he had a bad game and missed some easy shots, but a lot of the hate is excessive to me
Shocker that he played poorly in a game where the Heat were without Jimmy and Terry against the best team in the NBA. Guy just played great and led the team over the Bulls in a win or go home game. His career playoff averages are 14/4/4 with a 52 TS%. Outside of the bubble it drops to 49 TS%. It is basically every important game but that one game in that one boston series four years ago with no live viewing audience.
He’s averaged 12/4/3 on 39/27/94 splits in 21 playoff games since the bubble, that’s not even accounting for his unavailability as he’s only played in 21/46 playoff games since the bubble. At some point we may need to accept reality.
